Looks – The Simple Life
Lately, I have been sporting the foundation + lips look. The above photo was taken a few days ago, but I’ve been doing a lot of the same: foundation, light blush, lipstick, and gloss. This particular combination was YSL’s Fetish Pink Rouge Volupte Lipstick ($34.00) topped with MAC Crystal Rose Lipglass (LE). I’m hoping I get less lazy and actually DO makeup tomorrow 
*Edited to Add* Normally, I’d definitely pop some mascara on, but every day I start my look off going, “I’ll just go to school/grocery shopping/laze about, and then do full makeup.” See, if I put mascara on right away, then I end up trying to just refresh it in a full look, because taking it off ends up removing some of my foundation and yeah… LOL.

Normally, I love all your looks. However, i do think that this color makes your teeth appear yellow =( Just some advice!
christine, your teeth don’t look yellow! They just don’t look fake chrystal white – which is a very good thing!

Your eyes look so naked without mascara compaired to you other looks. I would use mascara instead of blush and it is a lovely casual “out of bed” look.
I didn’t put it on, because I intended to actually do full makeup later on
i agree, i would love to see this look with some mascara/curled lashes to just make you look a bit more awake, but i do love the whole idea of the look

How weird! I’ve haven’t been doing anything on my eyes lately either.. well except curl them. When I have exactly 5 minutes to get ready – eyeshadow just takes too long! haha

Christine, do you prefer to use foundation just on it’s own or top it with powder?
i’ve never been too serious about foundation because of the climate of where i live in… but winter’s coming and i’ve been considering whether i should get into foundation more or not. and also, i guess this is a personal preference thing, but do you use concealer over or under your foundation?
Hi Viv! I do both. I usually use SFF alone, but lately I’ve been topping it with MSFN or loose powder. I use concealer under most of the time

Am too lazy to do my eyes on days I don’t work. But a little blush, lipstick/gloss surely makes me feel pretty.

I just have to say, I just finished reading the latest issue of Nylon, which was “the It Girl issue,” and you look like you stepped off one of the pages! I really like the contrast of the bright lips against naked eyes. Feel free to take as many “lazy” days as you want, you look gorgeous!

I think a more natural lip would better compliment a natural face. That pink is too much. A tinted balm would look better.

Christine, you look just as good without mascara, I’m usually too lazy to swipe on coats of mascara anyway, because I have to remove and I’m in a rush, so some of my lashes fell off during “make-off”.
just some opinion, though, I really think this kind of pale pink washes you out, making you appear more sleepy. other than that, WOW

Those cool pinks don’t work on your skin tone.. it makes your teeth look yellow and your skin look green! HOWEVER, you look just as good without your usual makeup

I definitely love the look of foundation+lipstick. I modeled in a fashion even last month and the look for me was pink lips, foundation, and a little bit of mascara. It was hit!!

hey so were you wearing foundation here at all? if so which one? i have the exact color tone as you, but do have a few pimples here and there along with uneven skin tone because of my dark circles, i apply photoready foundation and it doesn’t match my skin tone, makes my face look to cakey and light, along with studiotech .. help ?
Yes, there is foundation here, but unfortunately the post is so old I don’t remember which one, sorry!
