Looks – Soft Pink and Brown Valentine’s Day Eye

Date: Thursday, February 14th, 2008 Author:

Happy Valentine’s Day all! Very subtle eye for me :)

I used Rose Blanc eyeshadow on inner lid, Up-do eyeshadow on middle of lid, Soft Brown eyeshadow on outer lid, Bronze eyeshadow in outer crease, Gleam eyeshadow above crease and on brow, and Blacktrack fluidline on lower lash line. I had Don’t Be Shy and Margin blushes on apples of cheeks with Daisylight beauty powder to highlight and Sculpt sculpting powder to contour. I wore Sweetie lipstick with Squeeze It lipglass on my lips.

    is up do limited edition?

    • Christine says:

Unfortunately it was, Ham! You can try Pink Venus or Da Bling instead, though. They aren’t as cool, but they’re close. Girlfriendly paint pot is actually very similar to it, IMO!

  19. Nora says:

Love this look! Soft and beautiful. And I just realized something – you tend to only line your lower inner lids, right? I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else do this. I feel confident I couldn’t pull this off since I’m so fair with light eyes and blonde hair. But with your darker complexion it looks perfectly natural!

i just wanted to say how nice this looks

and to pp Nora, i am also very very pale but i line more lower lash. its just a preference. try it out i think you’ll find its not that bold

Do you think it’s safe to say
that if attempting a smokey eye
you can use basically any color on lid
and use a brown to achieve the smokey
as long as its very well blended??
