Looks - Silver, Gray, and Dark Blues
Posted On: 01/28/08

I used Silver Fog pigment on lid, Rondelle eyeshadow on inner lid, Gentle Fume eyeshadow on middle of lid, Waft eyeshadow on outer lid and crease, Deep Truth eyeshadow on outer crease, Freshwater eyeshadow on outer lid, Ricepaper eyeshadow on brow and above crease, Deep Truth eyeshadow on outer lower lash line, Rondelle eyeshadow on inner lower lash line, and Feline kohl power on lower lash line. I wore Springsheen blush with Peach Haze beauty powder to highlight the cheeks. I had Cherish lipstick with Illicit lipglass and a touch of Tres Cher! lipglass.

That looks awesome Christine. I’m so glad I bought Ricepaper and I also have Deep Truth. I’m going to see if I can recreate with some similar colors.

Thanks, Shefali! You can definitely recreate it with just Deep Truth and some silver/gray colors!

Love this look! This is something I think I can reproduce on my eyes. Also - from another forum I read this tip to use a bit of chapstick on your lids as primer. I used it today and it works fab! No stickiness or heavy feeling.

Beautiful,as always.
Just a question. What brushes did you use to apply the pigment, and later the eye shadows?
Christine

Hi Madeleine!
I used a craftstore brush that is like MAC’s 239 brush for the pigments, and I used the 239 for the shadows.

Hey, not to be off topic, but, LOL, has anyone ever told you that you remind them of Olivia Munn?
LOL! That last picture of you on here is very pretty, and it totally reminded me of her! If you don’t know who Olivia is, she’s a model/actress who hosts Attack of the Show on G4TV.
Here’s a pic: http://www.imdb.com/gallery/hh/1601397/HH/1601397/iid_1451028.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Munn,%20Olivia
Anyway! Thought you looked a little similar (and of course, very pretty!!) :D

i love the way You did the inner corners,it is something new and fresh, like never done before.
it really opens up Your eyes,it is a glamour girl look :-D
the color choice of Your top is also very good.
nice blending as always.
and this color combo really brings out the darker shades of Your eye color, just like a green makeup of a past tutorail brought out the green in them :-D

another question i have is how do you keep your eyebrows so perfect? lol random question but they are flawless!
oh and do you think this look would be good with browns and golds instead of silver and grey?

Hi, just wanted to say I copied this look for an eighteenth birthday party I was going to where I was wearing an electric blue dress - people were commenting about how nice my make-up looked and whether I’d done it myself or not and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without this site ! Amazing, thank you!
