wow its gorgeous, how long did the eyeshadows last without cresaing? and which base would you recommend

    • Thanks, Zoe! They lasted the six hours I had them on :) I used the cream shadows AS the base, but I layered a good amount of powder eyeshadows to set the cream base.

Wow. I love how wonderfully you put the colors together!

I’ve gone through some of the looks, and I’ve noticed that the the middle color is often put on at an angle… not like straight down.. Is there a reason for that? it looks SO GOOD THAT way too.. How did you think of that?

    • Thank you Lainey! I’m glad you liked it. I guess I do it to give my eye more shape – not sure, really. I suppose I probably did it on accident and liked it, lol, and kept doing it!

    Pretty as always!!

Okay, I bought a couple of the metal X shades yesterday… I can’t for the life of me figure out what to put them on with. I’ve tried different MAC brushes but the cream just falls off of them.. I gave up and used my finger.. but I hate doing it that way… do I need a sponge tip to apply these? Thanks for your help!

Christine, you are the best! Your tutorials are like none I’ve ever come across before; very clear and straight-forward. Keep up the great work! I am new to your site and I’m already addicted. I am from the Caribbean so my complexion is medium brown. I love this purple look, it’s very rich and vibrant and, it will work for me. Can’t wait to try it out. Will let you know how it turns out.
