wow it looks great! too bad that these colors dont fit to my weird beauty type :(

  2. Tekoa

The soft pink lips look great with the eyes. All hail the greatness that is parrot! (yes I’ve jumped on the bandwagon. Overhyped? Maybe. Pretty? yes!)

    • Thanks, Tekoa! I wanted to do something with more color than a nude lip, and I’m glad it worked out :)

Hey, it’s worth getting if all you pay is retail!

  3. This is so pretty! I want to steal your lid shape!

what i absolutely LOVE about this site is when you show the up close picture of the eye, you think “wow..that is alot of super bright make up…” but when you show your whole face, it looks so great! it really shows how anyone can pull these looks off

OH WOW!!!! i want to do this for new years eve!

  14. Love this look! I’m so impressed you pulled it off yourself. I get this type of look at Mac but it’s never quite the same at home. Ditto the above comment: perfect for New Year’s Eve!

Wow, i love this look (and all of your other makeup looks!)
I’d really like to try something like this (i love MAC to :D) but i tend to go for a VERY natural look and i’m not sure how i could go from a bare look to a dramatic, wow-ing look. how could you make say the eyeshadow more subtle but keep the effect?

i really love your website btw! 😀

    • Hey Selene!

      THank you so much :)

My best advice is to just use lighter colors or use a light hand so you can apply less to get something that isn’t so intense.

So amazing that you can wear this and not look like a clown! haha. I can never get my eyeshadow to look right on the outer crease/the area at the tail of the eyebrow- I always end up wiping it off and just sticking to the lid, lol. Maybe with more practice it will look right. 😛 Thanks for all of your great tutorials, I have learned a lot about applying eye makeup!
