Is the lippie used during the makeup session listed? I haven’t seen it and it doesn’t look the same as the one on the photoshoot (smoldering+gloss). Hope someone knows! Great vid, btw
*smolder
This will forever change how I do liquid eyeliner O___O I suck at doing the cat-eye wing. They’re always uneven (too short, too long, too high, too low, etc.)
Thanks for the video!
Laura was dope in Instant star
hahah i tripped when I heard her name
Thanks for this.
I always struggle with liquid eyeliner, and I think that even with the tips given in the video I will mess it up. But I’ll try again.
Anyway, the make-up is flawless; and her skin is amazing!
I really like Laura Vandervoort, she’s awesome in V (just like the rest of the cast).
Wow, she’s unbelievably beautiful.
The trick with the white really helped!
That was REALLY helpful!!
thank God i can draw a cat eye!
i only watched it because i was curious of ”what is he gonna show me?”
this video is a tutorial for beginners
Yes, it is designed to help out those who have trouble with liquid eyeliner – not pros at it already
Great video! Love the idea.
I met Laura once and she was such a sweetheart – very real. Fun to see a makeup video with her in it!
I really wish somebody would do a decent tutorial on winged eyeliner for very hooded eyelids. All the ones I’ve encountered (except Koren’s video on faking it) are really just winged liner for pretty much normal eyes. My eyes are so hooded that the crease of my eye actually extends slightly past the outer corner of my eye, so doing winged liner is a pain in the butt. I’ve never been able to figure out a good way of doing it.
He is a great teacher! Thanks Christine. Now if only we could all make the rest of our makeup and skin look like that, we’d be happy
Nice vid and I loved his energy but this wasn’t very helpful. My winged-liner problem is that I never get both eyes to match.
Revlon has a great eye makeup corrector pen, and it’s perfect for evening out imperfect cat eyes!

And Christine: Thanks for the video! Even though liquid eyeliner is a breeze for me, I LOVE the white eyeliner tip! It adds a level of drama and I am so happy to be able to work it into my look!
Wow, that was great! Very helpful. I will try using the white liner too. I hadn’t seen that before. And I really liked that pen. I will keep practicing.
Can they do another tutorial about how he did her eyebrows? They are beautiful!
Can’t wait to try that white eyeliner tip! I wish I knew what lip color she had on in the beginning (not the smolder + gloss from the photo shoot), it was such a beautiful color!
Loved her skin! Her cheek bones were highlighted perfectly. Will definitely try the white pencil as a guide trick. Thanks love a tutorial!
i prefer liquid liner over pencil/gel.. i dont have problems so much with the outer corner, but the inner corner.. mine always some how smears within seconds of putting it on.. :/ so i always have this dot of liner in my shadow
it doesn’t matter which brand i use..
Cute video. I love Laura Vandervoort. She’s adorable.
Please, what she has on her lips ?????
I wear minimal makeup to college because we’re constantly removing each other’s makeup and re-applying it lol.
