What’s the product you’re most interested in, Christine?

I just drooled over my laptop. What is the product in the photo Christine?

OMG that is a piece of art!

I already bought the Butterflies Fever blush – it is absolutely gorgeous!

    • wendy

Me too! It was almost too beautiful to use – but I did anyway and it’s gorgeous – I paired it with the lippie from this collection in lily rose and it’s an amazing combo with a dark grey smokey eye.

  5. Angela

Butterflies and bows in pink and purple! I’m already in love!

The picture is BEAUTIFUL! I don’t usually buy this high end but I’m definitely looking out for this one…

OMG, that highlighting pattern is exquisite. I’m such a sucker for packaging and design!

Will Sephora be carrying this, Christine? I notice that it’s available on Lancome’s website already. Sheesh. We’re supposed to get 6″ snow tonight, and I’m thinking of buying things for spring! :)

  9. Katie

OMG that is gorgeous. I will have to get that.

I do hate though when companies add those crappy little brushes or sponge applicators. If you’re buying Lancome, you probably have real brushes.

    • wendy

That is true about having your own brushes – but I have to say, for a $40 product this was the cheapest and tiniest brush ever. I threw it away.

I’m sure they do that in case someone wants to toss it in a purse for on-the-go touch ups, but even so . . . It’s such a beautiful blush design, why ruin it by putting a compartment (that’s going to get dusty) and a silly brush right next to it? LancĂ´me coule easily have done what Guerlain did with Blush G: put the brush in a separate compartment under the blush where it doesn’t detract from the beauty of the design.

Totally agree about the wimpy brushes. Waste of material and space.

  10. Are these limited edition?

  11. Nunuiviet

Beautiful and romantic, what about some swatch?

  12. CiCi

Pretty….but I won’t buy anything that michelle phan promotes. She’s a big liar.

just saw these on nordstrom’s both quads look gorgeous and the lipsticks and lavande gloss. this is probably the most tempting campaign lancome’s done. I’m not usually that psyched about them but these look lovely. I wanna go to the store & check em out.

worse though was seeing the new chantecaille iridescent eye shadows in basalt & lilac rose. they must be OMG level.

    wow this is so pretty!
I will not buy this. it’s too expensive and i’d hate running that beautiful pattern!

  15. Anna

Lancome collections always disappoint me! :(

  16. I’m interested in the lipstick in the promo!

  17. People are always saying they want more feminine and girly collections, well, here it is! :)

  18. Dana

I love this collection is perfect for me. Thanks for the heads up on this one Christine!

  19. Ru

Christine, will you be reviewing this?

  20. Judy

Well. I was just going to sit back & wait for MAC’s stuff, but once I saw Lancome’s lavender items, I couldn’t resist. I just bought the beautiful blush. I can’t wait to receive it & I hope it’s just as pretty on the skin. I also bought two new items from Shiseido’s Spring line also in lavender. I’m so broke, but happy right now… :-)
Here is hoping MAC will follow with some lavender collections in the not-to-far future or at least some more purple stuff.

  21. Courtney

I would love a lavender blush and/or highlight. They’re so pretty and feminine!

    • anonymous

an opalescent lavender highlight would be divine :-)

(and look so pretty on pale skin I’d be responsible about sunscreen…)

  22. anonymous

christine do you know yet which other items from this collection you’ll be reviewing? (& if yes any hints?)

  23. Kellie

omg. I want to see swatches of the polish so bad. :(

  24. Alyssa

Today at The Bay(Canada), they put out a display of this but some products are different. The Ombre Magnetique- only gold is being sold, they’re not getting in the other 2. The nailpolish- they’re not getting in LE 54. They have a silver glitter one instead. The U.S. I haven’t seen anything about mascaras- but in Canada they have a purple and purple glitter Hypnose Drama special for this collection.
