Illamasqua Noble Nail Varnish Review, Photos, Swatches
Illamasqua Noble Nail Varnish
Fall In Love: It’s the Noble Thing to Do
Illamasqua Noble Nail Varnish ($14.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “turquoise blue.” (Sephora has it listed as “robin egg blue.”) It’s a brightened, light-medium blue with a hint of turquoise in it, which gives it that robin’s egg blue hue. It has a cream finish with a naturally glossy shine. Rescue Beauty Lounge’s Faraway is bluer, darker, and has shimmer. SpaRitual Ebb & Flow is more turquoise. Deborah Lippmann On the Beach is bluer, less bright. Zoya Robyn is a smidgen darker, bluer.
Noble is a limited edition, U.S. exclusive shade. It’s fully opaque after two coats (and mostly opaque after one). The consistency was just slightly thicker than the usual for Illamasqua. It didn’t pool along the sides or bubble during application, though, so it did not impede application. The drying time was about average (maybe slightly faster), but it had a really glossy finish without need for a top coat (photos are without a top coat). I typically see between seven and ten days of incredible wear with Illamasqua’s formula–the most minor of tip wear and no chipping.

I just ordered Cameo, and now you’re making me want Noble too. 😛
I LOVE IT!
The color choice seems a bit off for a Fall release. This shade seems more suitable for Spring or Summer.
I saw these almost neon set shades from Illamasqua in store as well. ^_^ loved them!
Very summery for a fall release. Didn’t NARS come out with a color that’s very similar as well?
NARS Koliary came out this summer, and it looks similar at first glance.
This is a really summery blue. It reminds me of a pool, kinda.
i like it, but…. it’s so BLUE
That’s how I feel about Zoya Robyn, which I bought this spring! I love the color, but it is SO saturated and intense that it’s hard to wear.
Gosh this is gorgeous!!
Canadian Sephora stores have it too – not sure why if its an “exclusive” shade for the U.S. Same for the other one, Cameo, the periwinke blue. Very pretty!
amazing color!!! it looks so pretty!!!! 🙂
Illamasqua, why would you release country exclusives and not even make them the UK? I am very disappoint!
In other words: “Holy crap this is gorgeous and I hate everyone who can access it.”
I am also peeved!! not to mention the us get better prices on everything!
A pity they won’t be available elsewhere. I’ve been trying to find the rubberized ones like Devotee, also a US exclusive I think, as a re-sale, with no luck, as well. Asked them if they would be available in the UK and they didn’t reply.
Oh! I asked them on Facebook and they told me that Rubber nails coming to the UK in November! Excited much. Loving these blues hope they make an appearance too espesh in time for Summer!
Lovely color and beautiful finish…Love Illamasqua !
Very pretty! Looks like a spring/summer color.
I do prefer Nars Koliary in fact even if the 2 shades are different.
WoW this is such a stunning shade a must have!!
Reminds me of the Sephora by OPI line color “Slushied”, with a bit more neon kick to it.
Looks like I’ll be doing some expensive ebay shopping to get this one.
It’s just as beautiful as I thought it would be–love this!
WOW! That blue is exciting! I love it!
So… Dupes? Loving the colour but I’m Canadian!
That blue is so so vibrant!
Looks like the perfect summer color!
I´m probably the odd one out, but I don´t really like this color, it´s extremely neon for my taste. Even though I think it can look very nice applied in other people it´s not my style.
Cool, a polish that actually looks more subdued when in the bottle than on the nails ;p
I fail to understand why it’s almost 14 quid over here, not dollars- which is almost 22 dollars. WTF!!!!
I love how pigmented and vibrant it is. Would be perfect for summer!
