SEPHORA ENCHANTED HOLIDAY 2007 COLLECTION

What to give? Sephora’s 2007 Blockbuster Palette contains 64 eyeshadows, 23 lip glosses, 9 lip shines, 6 blushes, and 2 compact powders. One of last year’s most desired holiday palettes was Sephora’s Blockbuster Palette. It appears that this year is no exception!

For who? This gift is perfect for every girl in your life that should be a beauty addict, is slowly on their way to full-blown addict status, or steals from your stash everything your back is turned.  Give the gift of a whole lot of loot with this jam-packed holiday palette. It’s guaranteed to keep one busy for many, many weeks playing with various eyeshadow combinations, textures, and products found within it.

Why and how much? The Blockbuster palette is nothing like the cheap kits you might find at various locations like a discount store – these are high-end, quality makeup products. You also get an amazing mixture of colors from neutrals to blues to greens to purples. The packaging is sleek, and the palette itself is a touch hefty (but hey, this sort of makes you feel like you’re really getting a boatload of products!), and it’s just such an optimal palette for all sorts of beauty addicts who are need of a traveling solution that still offers them a wide variety of choices to those with only the hint of interest on beauty. And really, it’s not easy to pass this one by, because it’s only $48.00. It’s a steal!

Find it at Sephora locations near you, and www.sephora.com.

  2. Karen says:

that’s a whole lotta makeup stimulus for $48. I’d give that badboy to a makeup newbie, so she (or he) could play, play, play!

  3. Liee says:

  6. Penny says:

  7. Kathryn says:

This is such a good deal! I plan on picking this up asap. Do you know if it is out in stores yet?

  8. Caramel says:

Wow! I’m so tempted! But I’ve never ordered anything from Sephora’s line before. I know you said they’re good quality, but how good? Like what would you compare the pigmentation to? And are the shiny, smooth e/s colors cream e/s?

    Thanks for the awesome pics!

    • Christine says:

I think they’re cream e/s as far as I could tell. They’re similar to other Sephora shadows – I wouldn’t say they’re up to par with MAC, but they’re not bad for the pricetag.

  9. Tekoa says:

Egads that’s a lot of colors. I’d get it but I’m afraid nothing would ever get touched

Not to be a buzzkill and this is only a partial criticism but I bought this. I ordered 2 online and they both arrived broken. Sephora was wonderful about it and replaced both. One is for myself and one is a gift. I have only tried to use a couple of the shades, but they were both the “cream” shades and they were lacking BIG TIME. Too dry, no color… just blah. The powder colors may be wonderful however so I will try to use it again… but it’s wayyyyy in the back of my fabulous MAC holiday collection!

    • Penny says:

      Gasp!!

I just bought one of these over ebay since Sephora don’t ship out of US. Keep my fingers crossed that mine will arrive safely.

MAC Holiday just hit the stores here last week…will have to eat only bread and water this month…

    • Christine says:

That’s most interesting, Mary, that the cream shades were lacking in color. I found that the ones I tested were decent enough – not the best, compared to a single shadow for $14-20, but worth it for the $48 price tag.

      • Penny says:

I bought mine over ebay cos I live in New Zealand and finally got it today .At first I was excited about it but I read a lot of
bad reviews about this palette on makeupalley.com now i am thinking of returning it since I haven’t use it. But do you personally find that it pigmented enough? What is your personal experience? Still 50/50 about returning it..

        • Christine says:

I found it pigmented enough for the price. I mean, you can’t expect the same quality of a $20 shadow to be in every color. I found this a great starter palette or gift to give a new beauty addict.

My husband got me this for Christmas and It is WONDERFUL. It is so much fun to have all of these colors staring back at me from the palette. It is easy to get carried away.
