I am a mac NC40 with yellowish undertones ( get super black tanned in the beach) and I got the shadowstick duo in gold bronze and the starfish blush. I love them both and work well with medium skin tones all round. The packaging is pretty neat also. The shadowstick is amazingly long lasting, so you have to work with it quickly as it dries to a satin finish almost straight away. When I saw the collection on line I also wanted the eyeshadow palette but when I saw it live I swatched it and, trust me, it is not a must have for us medium toned, yellowish, tanned girls. I think it would look preety nonetheless, especially if you dont have an extensive collection of eyeshadows, but it is not a WOW product for us. Another product I thought I would buy is the luminous liquid bronzer. I am still deciding over this, whether I should buy it or not. I swatched it and tried it on my cheeks and it was definately bronzer pigmented( it is not just shimmer, at all) and fair skinned girls need be carefull, as it could be too dark, if used too much. It is basically a liquid bronzer with a slight reddish tone. Also well worth it.
It smells like Tresor from Lancome. Basically it smells like every other sweet cloying perfume out there! I was so upset that EL discontinued the Bronze Goddess Shimmering lotion and Oil. That scent was amazing...warm and beachy and I always got compliments on it. Please bring it back!
This looks like a really beautiful collection. I especially love the eye shadow palette. I am a huge brown shadow fan and they look like really pretty shades of brown and bronze. Can't wait to try it.
i work at macy's and bought the starfish bronzer blush the day we pulled it out of the freight box.. loveeeeee it! gorgeous color when swirled together!
I'm pretty sure that main advert picture could sell me a 50$ paper bag -__-;; she's just unbelievably gorgeous.
Ok, in summer a lot of people get tan. But there are also A LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE who are still pale. So, why no-one thinks about the pale half of the population, creating also some make up that is not bronze-bronze-bronze-bronze? Each year, I don't buy anything from the summer collections...
I mentioned that ONLY the blush reminds me of To the beach b/c hipness blush had a sea star on top of the green compact.
o0o0o0o I really like that starfish blush bronzer, looks like it would be a good mix of colors once on the cheek.
Bronze Goddess is my all-time favorite scent, so can't wait to smell what they've done with the new Soleil!
Who do they think they are fooling? This is almost the exact same palette from last year. BUT I am a sucker for bronzers, so they will be making their money from me just a tad. :) Also curious to smell Soleil fragrance. I adore Bronze Goddess perfume...used in moderation of course!
Actually, it was the palette from 2 years ago. But yeah I totally agree with you. Save for one color, it's almost a replica! It's still a nice product though for those who don't own the one from 2009.
The "Sea Star Bronzing blush" is so cute! As is Hilary Rhoda's bathing suit. All I can say is: "Thank God it's not Elizabeth Hurley and her Ta-Ta's!!! lol
I would love to try the blush and the palette... Looks so pretty... I wonder if it would look great on me...hmmmmm?????
I'm loving the eye palette and the fragrance description really made me to look forward to smell! By the way I love the fact that the last two photos weren't photoshoped!
Do you know if you will be getting the chance to review some of these products? I don't know why, but I'm really excited about this haha
The eyeshadow palette looks way way wwwaaaayyy too similar to the one they released 2 years ago! http://www.temptalia.com/estee-lauder-bronze-goddess-illuminator-sand-and-sea-palette-reviews
Ugh, so unfair! This collection makes me want it to be summer already so I can break out my bronzer and Bronze Goddess perfume. I also really love the eyeshadow palette (and that starfish bronzer); this just proves to me I need to move to Hawaii so I can wear these colors all the time!
I would also like to add: The non-airbrushed photos are amazing! She looks so beautiful- and REAL. I wish more ads were left 'perfect' and more natural. I think she looks so much better, and the products better represented, without all the manipulation.
EL is one of my favorite brands and their summer collections are always a must to me! I always get a little new something and go back to what I got the previous years to rock on the summer. I LOVE THIS!!
awwwwwwwwwwww the powder is sooooo beautiful!!!! but I think that what is even more beautiful is the picture of this model, so summery, so holiday-ish... :D :D :D I miss summer! :))
I want them now!I will be home for about an hour so karla bring them over here!!!-I live in Greece is there a problem??LOL.Thanks so much about the post,i looove all of them,do hope that this line will come to europe as well.
So happy they're bringing back the Bronze Goddess perfume. It smells like the beach and coconuts. It's the only EL frgrance that doesn't smell like old ladies!
It sounds like Bronze Goddess Soleil might be a different scent from the Bronze Godess/ Azuree Soleil of past summers.
Lovely products but the model's cheeks look overly bronzed and fake. :( well at least on my screen. I'm looking forward to checking this out though!
