Essie North Fork Collection Review, Swatches, & Photos

Essie’s North Fork Collection features three summery colors in Sag Harbor, a cool silver blue; Shelter Island, a sky blue radiance; and Greenport, a dreamy aquamarine paradise. Each bottle retails for $9.00, and you can find ‘em at Essie.com (or click the link in the beginning). I’ve always been a fan of Essie’s polish formula, because it’s long-wearing and reliable. I’m more of a color fan, so I don’t always align with their collections, but I’m so happy to see these three hues join me for the season!
Sag Harbor is a cool, pale blue-gray with silver shimmer. Two coats was just right with this baby, but you need to make sure you have nice, even coats that aren’t too thin to ensure a streak-free finish.
Shelter Island is a creamy sky blue that’s not overly bright, but it isn’t pastel or pale either. It reminds me of an inviting swimming pool.
Greenport is a pale aquamarine color with a creamy finish. It has a lot of glossiness to it, and it’s really opaque.

I just bought all three of these and totally loving them. Here is a little money savings tip: The Essie nail polishes retail for $8 at ULTA, and I went yesterday, they had a buy one get one 50% off.

Nah, it's very similar to Peppermint Patti :) I'd say this is a little lighter maybe, but I definitely saw the similarity as soon as I swatched.
I hardly ever buy nail polish as I'm a serial nail biter but when I saw Greenport I had to buy it. It's even prettier in real life!

Hmm.. I like the colours... but they don't seem to be very good... For that price I'd choose O.P.I.

Yeah, they do a lot of sheers, and I can only see so many sheers before I get bored. So glad they put out COLOR!
