  1. BIG surprise (not) – I love the neutral eye shadow quad! The face palette shades look lovely but clearly, the powders will get into the lip products and make a mess in a pretty short time.

Thanks for this, Christine! I’ll definitely have a look at Bleu du Paris, though I’d rather get the full-sized version ;) Looks like a perfect cool gray-toned eye palette for that soft smokey eye effect I’m always after on special occasions!

When will you have swatches and reviews available for the palettes?? I’m waiting for your review big time!!

  4. The eye palette looks great! There are a couple of things here that look really nice!

Dior, is that lip products mixed in with powder products? *hands on hips* You should know better!

I tried all of these last week, plus the huge collection of new powder blushes and new mascara (decent but nothing really new), & wasn’t terribly wowed. Some of the shades are beautiful, silky & fairly pigmented, others are very disappointing when applied, almost disappearing into the skin. In addition, the tiny little strips of lip products below the shadows are pathetically small.
