Davines Moisturizing Replenishing After Sun Shampoo for Summer
Saturday, June 6th, 2009

With the weather starting to feel like summer, I’ve been on the hunt for products to keep me moisturized and protected from the sun from head to toe. As to not to exclude hair, I tried out Davines’ SU Sun Care line, which is a range of hair care products to help combat sun and summer fun consequences. I’ve been using the Moisturizing Replenishing After Sun Shampoo ($19.50) for the past month and a half, and I’m loving how soft my hair is.
It has a very earthy/herbal-y kind of scent, but it doesn’t turn me off. I think I am holding neutral on the scent, which is fine, because it doesn’t linger beyond washing my hair. My only concern with this product is the packaging, because I found that it was really easy to get more than you wanted. The way I fixed this was just being conscious of it.
Otherwise, it’s been doing a fab job of keeping my hair looking healthy and feeling silky. When we get deeper into summer, I’m definitely giving the Nourishing Replenishing Mask a try!
Hello! Have you ever used Joico? Ulta has it. It's the most amazing shampoo and conditioner I've ever tried. Xoxo
I love Davines! I use almost all Davines products and couldn't be happier. The packaging does take some getting used to, though.
My hair dresser gave me the love shampoo as a Birthday present and I love it. The smell is great too and long lasting.
I have started to use Davines about 2 months ago. I went from using all sorts of different products to using all davine products. They are awesome, although i do agree with you the packageing kinda sucks the product comes out way to fast in a large amount. The Salon I started going to sells these, but that is the only place in my area that does. I am defiently going to give these ones a try though! :)
SO good to hear, Shannon! I wasn't sure if anyone else had tried Davines, so I am glad to know others have :D
Local salons will carry it - you can go to www.davines.com and locate one near you. I believe these aren't diverted products, since they are a regular salon, but also at: http://www.fourseasonsproducts.com
