China Glaze Up & Away Collection: Sugar High
China Glaze Sugar High Nail Lacquer is a vibrant medium pink with a coral kick creme. When I swatched it, I saw a fair amount of coral in it, so I wouldn’t classify it as a hot pink at all. It does have the brightness one would expect in a hot pink, though, but there is definitely some coral in it. I actually think the smidgen of coral makes it a more interesting than it otherwise would have been.
Like other deeper shades in the collection, Sugar High applied like a dream–even, smooth, and opaque–in just one or two coats. I didn’t find myself worrying much over streakiness with this, like I did with some of the lighter shades, which was nice. The formula is similar to the other shades; thick, richly pigmented, and has a beautiful slightly glossy creme finish.

I have a question. Why do you leave that gap at the root of your nail when you paint your nails? Do you do it like that when you paint your nails in real life, and not for these reviews?
No, I don’t. I just don’t want to cause any unnecessary wear and tear on my cuticles, just for swatching purposes, as well as it makes it easier to remove!
This is gorgeous. I think it would look fantastic on toe nails. If only there wasn’t 3 feet of snow everywhere!
One question: Do these polishes come separately or all together? Because there are a few shades that have been swatched that I really dislike, and I’d hate being stuck with unused product!

As far as I know, you should be able to purchase them separately as well! I know you can do that on etailers (where I buy mine).
