China Glaze Christmas-themed Nails

As I mentioned this morning on Twitter, I did a Christmas-y theme on my nails with China Glaze Ruby Pumps and Emerald Sparkle. I just alternated the colors for my theme :)   I used Zoya’s Color-Lock System for base, top, and drying coats!

I’d love to know if you’ve been doing any winter or holiday-inspired nails this season! Share what you’re wearing in the comments!

    Very gorgeous nails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
unfortunately I can’t find China glaze here in Italy so, for this holidays I’m wearing Dior Nail polish in Red Dahlia :) ))

  2. Jordana says:

LOVE! Wish I’d thought of it! I painted using OPI Merry Midnight last night and probably won’t have time to change again… but may have to stay up late tonight and do it anyway!

    • Christine says:

Oh, Merry Midnight! That’s a nice one :) So pretty. I’m cheesy, so I HAD to do red/green. I rarely have the time (or the patience) do a real, full mani (well, at least… the color part of one) since I usually just do swatches, but this was a must-do!

  3. nuraini says:

i’ve also been wearing Ruby Pumps on my nails the past couple of days, but for Christmas tomorrow i’ll be wearing OPI’s Holiday Glow.

  4. Steph says:

OPI I’m Not Really a Waitress. I really want Ruby Pumps now, haha.

  5. Ally says:

I’m planning on doing that exact mani tonight :)

  6. Emm says:

Merry Christmas Christine! They look beautiful!

  7. Jameyn says:

love love love! but how come the nail polish never touched your cuticles? i’ve been wondereing about that forEVER.

    • Christine says:

I’m not skilled enough to not get it ALL OVER my cuticles for one, but since I don’t wear polish for long, I prefer to keep off my cuticles so I don’t rub ‘em too much in the removal process.

  8. Jeanette says:

    Gorgeous manicure! :)
Today I am wearing OPI’s Dear Santa. I adore this one and I just love the name. :D

  9. Haley says:

Haha, I did the same exact nails with the same nail polishes about a week ago! :D

  10. Ashley says:

How do you keep your nails looking so nice? I can’t seem to get mine to grow!

I’m wearing Ruby Pumps, too. :)

  11. Nancy says:

  12. Karla says:

I haven’t been doing my nails lately, but I did paint my toe nails red for the holidays. Affaire in Red Square by OPI it’s a really pretty red shimmer. Maybe I will paint my nails too. lol.

  13. Anne says:

Wonderful :) Now I must think about elfs :D :D

  14. shontay says:

I’m wearing Emerald Sparkle right now. The girl at Mac was gushing over it so much, she gave me the wrong item. >:o

  15. Camilla F. says:

    Gorgeous choice of colors!
Since here in Brazil is summer, I choose a bright and happy orange from a national brand.
    Merry Christmas!

  16. kate says:

ever since you reviewed emerald sparkle last month i’ve been rocking this christmas nail look!

  17. egon says:

    Talk about gorgeousness =)

  18. Kaylabella says:

I’m wearing Sinful Colors San Francisco (emerald green) with Call Me Later (bright green glitter) over the top! It reminds me of Emerald Sparkle, but brighter and with a lot more glitter!

  19. AnGeLwInGz says:

So cute! Love the glitter. I’ll be wearing Chanel Gold Fiction (Ltd. Ed. from last year).

  20. Marina says:

    Cute!
I’m wearing Dior Silver Purple, it’s gorgeous! But i’m changing it to Dear Santa – ho! ho! ho!

  21. K says:

Today I’m wearing China Glaze Ruby Pumps, and last week I was wearing China Glaze Outta Bounds with Nicole by OPI Winter Glitterland top coat (looks very similar to this person’s: http://www.stephscloset.com/blog/gallery/id/3753/nicole-by-opi-winter-glitterland-nail-polish-over-green/)

  22. Maria says:

I’ll be wearing OPI’s “Smitten with mittens” In the jar it looks like Ruby Pumps but with gold glitter too, but when you put it on your nails it’s a complete dupe for ruby pumps. I like the application of OPI better, but both gorgeous colors!

  23. Alison says:

I’m totally rocking emerald sparkle too.

  24. Alannah says:

    Oooh, I love it! :D

  25. Christy says:

I’m doing my nails before I go to Midnight Mass. I think I’ll wear Ruby Pumps. :) At the moment I am wearing Essie Mint Candy Apple though.

  26. amy says:

I am wearing Sephora OPI Worth My Weight today.

  27. Tekoa says:

I’m wearing Lippmann Ruby Red Slippers. Oh so sparkly!

  28. dorothy says:

    I love these colors

I’ve been painting my nails with diagonals of ruby pumps, medallion, and then the emerald sparkle.

My fingers look like little ornaments!!!!!! :)

Ruby pumps and emerald sparkle are both THE red and green of christmas…like PERFECTLYYYYYYY

  29. Julia. says:

I wish I had Emerald Sparkle! The closest thing I have is Watermelon Rind, which is too blue-y for Christmas, so instead I went with Heart of Africa, with Ruby Pumps on top! It’s actually really hot, if I do say so myself :-)

  30. Miranda says:

I love this! Sadly I could not find these polishes where I live, so I’m going with MAC’s Lucky Number (still very pretty, though).

  31. Nadine says:

I’m wearing ruby pumps with a gold holographic by china glaze over top – it makes it look so multidimensional! Happy holidays to all!

  32. Sarah says:

I actually have Essie’s Mint Candy Apple on, reminds me of these mints my aunt made when I was a kid lol. I broke 3 nails today though so I’ve gotta give myself a new manicure :-/

  33. i’m wearing $OPI worth my weight (:

  34. Melissa says:

I’m wearing Emerald Sparkle as well!

  35. Andrea says:

    looks fun!
