2009 Temptalia Readers’ Choice Awards: Nominations are open!
3rd Annual Temptalia Readers’ Choice Awards for 2009
Every year, Temptalia has been proud to hold an awards ceremony to honor and celebrate the best beauty brands and products, both new and old. (We also have to toss in a few “worst” categories!) Our first awards were held in 2007, followed by 2008. The full awards consist of both editor’s choices (aka my picks) and readers’ choices, which are based off of readers’ nominations and votes.
Like last year, for the next week or so, we’ll be taking your nominations for each of our categories in the Readers’ Choice Awards. We will then compile the top ten to fifteen nominees for each category and present it to everyone to vote later in December. Final results as well as my picks will be published in January/February 2010!

Quick Tips:
- Most categories are not specific to new products–meaning, they don’t have to be products released this year (2009). There are a few, and they usually call out “of 2009″ or “of the Year.”
- If you don’t have an answer, don’t feel obligated to put one.

Note: I did not list ANY potential nominees or give examples for any category (excluding Best/Worst MAC Collection — we know the potential nominees there), because I do not want to influence the nomination process.
Hi Christine - I had a hard time chosing the best brand. I ended up putting down 2. 1 brand for skincare and 1 brand for makeup. Just wanted to let you know - I hope it didn't disqualify my submission.

That was hard. Some my answers surprised even me. And picking the best MAC collection wasnt easy so I decided to go by the one that I spent the most money on (*whisper* $300 *whisper*).
