First of all, I generally love Viseart eyeshadow, but have tried 2 of the 4 Petit Fours collection (Praline & Lilas) and they're both awful (not just not very good, actually BAD). The colours on the packaging are completely different from the actual shadows which are all insipid on the eyes with no depth. They are all really powdery, which is not a problem in itself if the powder is pigment and you can build intensity but you just can't. The dark grey which might have helped with giving depth to the outer corner for instance, is so shiny it just reflects with no actual colour. I've bought the Violette palette but if that's not up to much then I'm afraid I'll be off Viseart full stop. And I'm fed up with Viseart's photography - the product doesn't match the pictures at all.

The colours on the packaging are completely different from the actual shadows which are all insipid on the eyes with no depth (they a.l look like sand not the deep chocolate brown on the packaging for instance), and this particular palette has no real difference between the 3 medium shades. They are all really powdery, which is not a problem in itself if the powder is pigment and you can build intensity but you just can't. I'm so cross about these - I'd send them back but it would cost me more in postage than the eyeshadow cost itself (I'm in the UK and they aren't sold here yet so I bought them from Beautylish). I'm fed up with Viseart's photography - the product doesn't match the pictures at all.
