One of my favourite blushers, Taj Mahal by Nars is a super flattering orange shade with a beautiful golden finish. It's so easy to use, highly pigmented and long wearing (approx 7 hours). The more you blend out the more it actually works as a good highlighter too. Love this!
Wow, what a beautiful blush palette. All three colours, according to Nars reps are actually permanent blushers you can buy seperately (If anyone know what these are, please let me know!) They can be used seperately or together - eitherway they are highly pigmented so you only need to use a little. They are so flattering and leave a really beautiful finish on this skin. When blended out (using the right blush) they leave a beautiful glow. It's also extremely long wearing for a blush too. My experience of blush is usually 4-6 hours but I got around 8 hours with this. Cannot recommend this highly enough!
This amplified lipstick is full of colour. It's super flattering and works well with neutral makeup. The formula is creamy, moisturising and also long wearing. Overall, it is consistent with my experience of MAC lipsticks which are generally good quality.
This is probably one of my favourite MAC lipsticks! The colour is a flattering light to neutral pink and works as an every day colour. The formula is creamy and moisturising, leaving a nice sheen on the lips. It's not long wearing though (3 hours) , but that's not an issue for me personally.
This colour, although a pretty neutral nude/pink is extremely flattering and comfortable to wear because of its creamy formula. It is quite moisturising and long wearing - it lasts around 5 hours on me which is my experience of all Nars lipsticks. I highly recommend this ipstick as a must have every day shade which goes with all types of makeup looks.
The colour of this highliter is a light gold, so if like me you have indian/ asian skin, it may look a little too bright so I recommend using this sparingly. The product is highly pigmented and with the right brush, it blends out beautifully to give a really nice soft finish. In fact, it gives a nice dewy glow that most highlighters (even expensive ones) don't give. Its such a great value product too as you get quite a lot product and the price is very affordable. I wish this would come in more colours because I really do consider this product as one of my favourites.
Out of all the Mineralize blushes from the Tropical Taboo collection, this was the strangest. I thought it looked a little odd when Christine did her review but I really liked the orange shade. If both the orange and brown were sold seperately they would be winners. To use them together is hard work as the brown is too dark and makes the complexion look a little dirty. The only way to get the colour to look good is to switch between orange and brown but it does give a beautiful finish and is long-wearing. I'm on the fence with this one!
This is a highly pigmented blush, I literally have to touch this lightly with my brush or it'll pick up too much product. The blush colour is so pretty (bright pink), is easy to use/ blendable and and the texture is really soft & smooth.
I bought the MAC Extra Dimension Blush in Blazing Haute and was impressed, so I bought Fiery impact. This is a pretty muted brick red colour on me which is very flattering and the finish of this blush is smooth. This is a beautiful staple blush for every day use with a hint of sparkle. As with Blazing Haute, it is a little stiff to get colour from the pan onto the brush but I didn't really find this to be a problem.
This blush is truly stunning. The warm plum/pink shade mixed with gold gives a warm luminous sheen. It is highly pigmented therefore you only need to use a little. It blends out well and lasted around 6 hours on me. This works as a great blush/ highlighter in one!
The colour is so pretty! The lipstick is sheer and moisturising - I did find though that the longer I wore it, I found the hydration a little too much. Its my first Mineralize rich lipstick so maybe I need to get used to this formula. Other than that, lovely product!
I really wanted to love this product but at the moment I just like it - I was expecting it to be highly pigmented but I actually found that you have to scrape a bit to get the colour onto the brush. On the skin though, the blush is easy to blend out. It is quite sheer too - but it might be because of the colour against my skin rather than the product itself. Its a great daily blush and I'll probably buy the other colours too.
Like soft and gentle and adored MSF this product is fantastic. This colour out of the three is the most flattering on my complexion as it has a pretty rosy colour that works as a highlighter and blush. I wore this on its own - the product is quite sheer but easily buildable. It does have a lot of shimmer but its not too glittery to wear every day.
I didn't think this colour would suit my complexion but tried it anyway. I love it. It has a beautiful rose gold colour and is really pigmented. Its a sheer texture that is easily buildable though it is very shimmery. I think its possible to get away with wearing this daily - I used this with some bronzer and it worked really well. Great product!
Just like the lipstick, the purple colour is very flattering and pretty. My experience with MAC lipliners is varied, I mostly find them to be quite drying. This lipliner was no exception but overall I'm quite happy with it.
Beautiful skinfinish! It gives my cheeks a beautiful flushed gold sheen and although it looks really shimmery in the pan, it actually doesn't leave a lot of glitter on the skin. The product is sheer but buildable to get more of that beautiful gold.
I found the Burberry lipstick to be of average quality. The colours and payoff is good but it lasted an average of an hour on me. I was extremely disappointed with the really horrible metallic taste - for the price, you'd think they would at least work on that. Don't think I'll be buying Burberry make-up anytime soon...
Love love love. My first experience of using this - I was in awe. I'd heard lots of people rave about this and now I see why. High quality product, delivers a beautiful glow without having to use much product. Love the colour and the dewy shine it gives my skin 🙂
I think my experience of this blush is the same as others. The colour is gorgeous but the payoff, not so much. Like Benefit's Coralista, Nars' Orgasm blush is just a bit too glittery to wear every day and it is really sheer, so the more you add to get colour, the more glitter you add to your cheeks. Still, it's a high quality product and I can see why its so popular.
I finally bought this after all the reviews of how great people found this product for summer. It's a runny liquid type texture that is quite easy to blend. Because of its formula, it is buildable to get a strong dewy look. It gives a lovely light golden glow but my main disappointment with this was the amount of glitter in the product. I found that touching my face, even by accident would leave the glitter all over my hands. Having said that though, I would still use this, maybe limit it to nights out or special occassions.
