Most of the shadows in the Sydney Grace x Mel Thompson Tiny Marvels palette apply beautifully. Jewel Bee, unfortunately, is the exception. In my experience, it was extremely dry, prone to kickup in the pan and hard-panning with any attempt to obtain a finger swatch, and difficult to build or blend. Even when packed with color, brushes deposited little more than a sheer wash of phantom violet on bare skin, requiring repeated applications to achieve visible results.

Pros: The color is gorgeous and vibrant, and a little definitely goes a long way! It was easy to build up from a natural flush to a bright wash of color without adding heavy layers, and it blended beautifully with both my fingers and a brush, even on bare skin. Cons: I purchased this in the spring, when it was released, and no amount of massaging, warming, or kneading the tube has made it any easier to dispense the product. The last time I tried to use it, the seal at the back of the tube split; I love the formula and the color, so I'll be doing my best to salvage it into another container, but this was really disappointing for a first purchase from the brand.
