The pigmentation and texture of the shadows varies by shade. I've found the shadows easy to work with and blend (over primer) and I'm very happy with the palette as a whole. I especially love the way certain color combinations bring out the blue in my eyes.

I've shied away from many lipsticks because they make my dry lips even more problematic. UD's After Dark is anything but drying! It applies easily, lasts longer than any other lipstick I've ever worn, and feels moisturizing. I don't feel the need to reach for a gloss or a balm to use over it, it's comfortable to wear on its own.

Even though I love the color and longevity of this lip liner, everything else about it makes it difficult to use. The liner is VERY firm, which means I have to use more pressure when applying it. However, due to its consistency, it's easy to get a precise line that won't smudge. The delivery method leaves much to be desired. The clickable applicator only allows you to dispense product, not retract it. Also, because the liner is so firm and thin, it breaks easily from impact (inside the mechanism) and you won't realize that it's broken until a portion of liner just falls out when you're trying to use it. Even though I love the color and longevity of Sky Violet, I have no plans to repurchase this liner. This particular formula would be much better in a pencil form that you'd need to sharpen.
