Androgynie is a great sheer but buildable layering shade. I purchased mine in a mini size at Sally's, as part of their holiday candy cane collection. It is a sheer black, jelly-like polish, which makes it look gray when applied. It does not reach a full, opaque black when you build it, but it can "blacken" or deepen a color. I've tried it and liked it over reds, teal and navy blues, blacks, and plum-like purples. It has colored glitter flecks as well as hexagonal holographic glitter bits that disperse fairly evenly with little effort. And, if you are just using it as a top layer, it disperse enough glitter in a single coat to be noticeable. It is easy to work with, doesn't streak, pools very rarely, and comes with a standard size and shape brush (small, long, and thin, with bristles of equal length).
