A few years ago, I was using this formulation in BR32 which has a rosy tone. I've since been re-matched to BD31 by two beauty associates at the Chanel counter, and it is a golden shade. I have light olive skin that leans cool, so I was confused thinking I should use a rose base. I've since learned that the foundation oxidizes too red for me. The only other matches that work for me in other brands are Estee Lauder Double Wear 3N1 and MAC studio fix in NW20. I have stayed with this formula because I have mature skin that still breaks out, gets oily in summer, and has hot flashes. Although reps will advise mature people to wear serum and hydrating foundations, they do not last on me and they increase blemishes. It works better if I use a non-greasy moisturizer primer in winter and no primer in summer.

I have cool neutral skin and I've been analyzed as a Winter. This foundation in BR32 has equal amounts of pink and yellow which balances my olive skin. Normally I wear 3N1 in Estee Lauder and NC30 in Mac.
