The color is very unique, even as a purple lipstick collector. Muted and brown-toned, without being too warm, and still reading as distinctly purple. It stays put nicely, and has good opacity. Only thing is, it can be a bit dry on application, which docked it half a star, but doesn't dry out the lips. I'd consider this more of a comfort matte formula, it can transfer a bit, but just going about your day and drinking a bit, it'll look fine. One way I like to wear it is as a faded/ombre lip, kinda inspired by the K-Beauty looks, and it blends nicely for that.

This shade is just so pretty! Seriously. I'm a fan of the Lipstories formula in general, but this tops out the collection. It's a plummy brown, and I always love a plummy brown. But this is *different* from the others, with its gold and copper shimmer. It's sparkly but still a daytime-friendly shade, shimmery in a way that doesnt over-emphasize texture. It's seriously just *really pretty.* And a great price. And comfortable, but not greasy or too balmy. It's probably the perfect lipstick, I'd argue! I'm not even a Libra and I love it!

When it says "perfect" it means it! On me, it pulls a bit more brown tham plum, but is seriously a stunning shade. It's comfortable and balmy, but not smeary and applies mostly opaque. Only downside? It's *very* heavily fragranced, as is the case with Lancome lipsticks as a whole, in a floral "lipstick rose" scent, which brought down my rating by half a star. It's a 90s plummy brown, but in an expensive-looking way, if that makes sense. Somewhere in between posh and grunge, in a perfectly timeless way.

I seriously love this formula. This shade is so nice, I'm always a sucker for these deep warm reds! This shade in the Lip Clay formula is a bit patchy, but can be built up to be opaque enough. I do suggest using a liner with it if you want a crisp line. Once applied, it lasts untill you wipe it off, and if blotted, it can be mask-proof. It's comfortable enough for me, somwbody who hates most liquid lipsticks, which really says a lot. I have 6 shades of this formula for a reason!

Lovely formula, lovely color. It applied opaque, and wore comfortably. Its not transfer-proof, but will last unless you wipe it off. The color isnt the most unique, but if you want a true chocolate brown in a comfortable yet long-wearing formula, this is it! It can be blotted down a bit to be worn with a mask. Wet n Wild Gimme Smore is a 100% shade dupe in a similar-feeling formula, but Gimme Smore heavily fragranced, cloyingly so in my opinion. So if you like that product but want an unscented version, this is it! It's also similar in formula/feel to the NYX Matte Lip Creams, with the closest shade being Berlin, but it's darker and cooler/more neutral than Berlin.

A truly unique shade in a truly confortable formula! I have a ton of mauves, greiges, and greyish purples, but I seriously don't have a dupe for this one. It's truly matte, but not fully transfer-proof, resulting in a more comfortable liquid lip, which is worth it for me. It's opaque and applies well, and the applicator lets me get a nice, precise application.

From goth night at the club to early mornings at the office, this palette has my back! We all know now that Melt's formula is a bit hit-or-miss, but this is 100% a hit. All of the shades are solid, and the color choices all are cohesive, straddling both the cool mauvey berry and warm rusty marsala ends of the "wine" spectrum. But it's a bit repetitive, losing half a star from my rating, and I would have preferred one more vivid matte berry-wine or a true matte black in here, instead of having both Lost Control and Meann Streak. Still, worth getting for me! Packaging is also very cute, which is a nice bonus.

It has a lovely color story without a single bad shade. The mattes blend beautifully, the metallics are foiled and opaque, and the shimmery toppers are shiny and lovely. Lost half a star in my rating since the bottom center and left shades are too similar, and would have preferred one of them be darker, similar in depth to the dark brown shade. Otherwise, no complaints! Also, you can use some shades as highlights if you like a more sparkly look. Definitely a good palette for work days for me, and really works perfectly with my golden-olive undertones and an earthy, 90s brown lipstick. I look forward to trying the sister palette from this set!

As a highlighter, it's a 5 star product, but asan eyeshadow, which its advertised as, it's absolutely terrible. I wanted to love it! But it creases, its tacky, it never fully dries down. Unless I set it with an eyeshadow or powder, which defeats the purpose. I got it on sale, so I plan on keeping it to use as a highlighter, and love it on my cheeks, getting a *ton* of compliments when I use it! But as an eyeshadow, it's unuseable on my hooded eyes, no matter how I prep it or apply it.

It's such a nice color and it wears more red than brown on me. Perfect statement color that still wears as office-friendly on my light-medium skin. Only slight complaint is that after a few hours of wear it feels slightly dry and crumbly. It reapplies nicely though so it's a non-issue, and layering it over or under a balm fixes this. It applies creamy but gets drier with time. It's a true matte formula.
