Picture on Lisa's website is inaccurate. Temptalia has a more accurate picture of the color Velvet Petal. This color is nothing special. The texture of the lipstick is nearly identical to Pat McGrath Mattetrance--I wouldn't be surprised if it is from the same manufacturer. However, Lisa's version comes in cheap looking packaging compared to McGrath. If you like McGrath's mattetrance lipstick formula you will like Lisa's Velvet. As for me, I do not like this formula--it applies streaky and feels a bit gritty on the lips. Also, wear time is nothing remarkable. I prefer a Mac Amplified, Bobbi Brown Luxe and even Colourpop's glowing and blotted lipsticks to this type of formula.
