The Le Marc line is smooth, creamy and easy to apply however it is not long-lasting. With so many products on the market I can get all the benefits of this formula and something that would last all day elsewhere. I did debate getting this color because I feared that it would be a generic dark purple but I was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong! This is a deep true neutral brown that has slightly more red the Revlon Chocolicious. There's no purple in this shade which is refreshing compared to similar colors in the current market place.

This is a generic red that it's particularly interesting in color, finish or lasting time. The was as soon as I saw the color in person. The Marc Jacobs packaging is as wonderful as ever.

Okay, so every picture I've seen of this lipstick has been misleading. I don't know if it's because I have a deep complexion or if it's the lighting but this looks like a deeper nude but on me it turns out to be more like a deepened coral red. I would have never picked this color for myself as with my neutral/cool undertone, any lipstick with a warm/yellow tone makes my teeth look yellow and just is not complementary. But this isn't nearly as deep as Elson and almost an exact color dupe for MAC Russian Red. The formula is the typically PML MatteTrace formula that goes on like a balm, feels like nothing and lasts all day. Honestly, I am trying to use my lipsticks and not just collect them so I put this on in the morning. I ate toast with lemon curd, rice and butter chicken, cups of coffee and tea. While it does transfer it's still on my lips at the end of the work day. You can touch it up if you want but it's not need. And there is no staining! Truly, this lipstick will wipe clear with simple toilet paper.

When I first received this foundation I was not impressed. I didn't see anything amazing or out of this world and planned on returning it. My thoughts have changed as this became the only foundation that I used time and time again. On my oily/combination skin this doesn't pickup on my dry patches around my mouth and chin but also does not get super shiny on my checks. At the end of a normal workday I do have a little glow but it's more of a natural finish instead of the matte finish when I first apply. This is a lovely medium finish and I get great coverage with less than a dime size portion. This spreads and blends very well and can be built up if you'd like but it's not something that I do outside of an experiment once. I did think that the plastic packing would assist in getting all of the product out however I have found it can be stiff and not super easy to squeeze so I store mine upside down to decrease air bubbles and increase the ease of getting the product out of the package.
