This was one of my first ever makeup purchases, and I have to say, it absolutely deserves all the hype it's gotten and continues to get. This is such a phenomenal product! I got it in four colors (including the cult favorite, Luminoso), but Bella Bellini has to be my favorite. The color is so lovely, a pinky-peachy shade with a soft golden sheen and a teensy spattering of golden shimmer that, despite of the dreaded "glitter chunks on my face" tragedy that befalls so many products like it, does not have any powdery fall-out whatsoever. The blush is soft and smooth, almost like butter, and it blends on to the cheeks beautifully with a gentle, youthful sparkle and a natural glow that lasts quite a good while on my non-primed skin. However, for how great the actual product itself is, the compact it's contained in, while pretty with its gold coloring, is quite awful. It's a bit large and bulky, with a mirror that's attached to the back of the blush that you have to flip, which, if you're not careful, can ram the tip of the blush dome into the lid (which could possibly crack the blush, though I haven't had that happen yet and I'm trying to keep it that way). The tiny brush that comes in the space under the mirror, which is actually okay at picking up powder, is not that good at dispensing product evenly, so quick-travel is a bit iffy unless you don't mind carrying a blush brush or kabuki brush with you in your purse (which I personally don't). But, all in all, it's a gorgeous blush, with many well-deserved songs of praise, and I am gladly hopping on the bandwagon of lovers. For the amazing quality and equally amazing price point, I will graciously handle bulky packaging, and I'll definitely purchase another when I run out of it. 🙂
