We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

My sentiments the same Jessi. I could not believe that this color/product made it to market. Nothing redeeming about it.

I don’t think I could stand to wear it… the texture reminds me of NARS’ ‘Silent Night’ eyeshadow which was a horrific mess (which I tried 2x and then pitched it in the garbage because it was an uninspired mess).

I wouldn’t. It’s strange, and unfortunate, that a brand like NARS (and it is one of my favorites) continues to put out products which are, for all intents and purposes, useless.

Strangely, the glitter/ shimmer in this one doesn’t bother me as much as in other blushes. I wore it with the Dogon duo and Mayflower l/s and it worked really well.

That’s exactly why I got it. 🙂 The fact that I was able to make it work was sort of a nice bonus. Then again, I seem to end up with a lot of NARS products that way. I think Francois and I must have been into a lot of the same things growing up.

I’m not sure I could very well pull it off on its lonesome–far too blue and glittery for me, personally–so I’d try to warm it up with a bronzy contour and try to play off the glitter as a highlight with fairly satin-finish eyes and lips. The eyes would be a very natural contour, and the lips a slightly cool rose. Skin, lightly dewy.

I finally swatched this and was really surprised by how much I liked it! Yeah, it’s totally sparkly and I’d never wear it in daily life, but if I had a need for “party sparkle” or something more theatrical/fun, I’d totally buy it and wear it with pale, pale matte lips and a dark matte smoky eye. It didn’t seem like regular run-of-the-mill glitter to me…the sparkles were somehow prettier.

I feel so alone in loving this product. (Is it because I’m super pale and slightly cool toned – NW15ish?) I’ve used this pretty much every day this week. Today I’m wearing a pinky nude lip, the super pretty Dogon duo and New Order over Deep Throat blush. Yesterday I wore it on its own with Guerlain Gillian and some eyeshadows from the Stila Haute in the Hamptons palette. I’ve also used it to nice effect as a sort of intensifier for when I actually bother to put bronzer on my chest and/or shoulders.

Yikes, I guess I’m in the minority here. I really love this blush.

I mix it with Benefit Moon Beam highlighter and it looks great. If you keep the eyes and lips sans-sparkle, it’s a great balance.

I’m actually surprised that so many people are glitter-hating when a lot of times, they’re all gung-ho over chunky glitter gritty lipglosses. *shrugs*

This reminds me of a blush I had in the 80’s and I want to say it was Aziza or maybe L’Oreal, but I will never forget that color!! Fun but tricky to wear. It wasn’t chalky, it went on nice and sheer, but even with my pale skin, it was hard to pull off.

Wow, I actually really like New Order Blush. I wear it with a bronzy eye and sheer pink lipcolor. I like to layer it over Deepthroat blush.
