Tom Ford Beauty Rose Tease Eye Color Quad ($90.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a new, limited edition all-matte color story that included a beige, pale coral, pink, and mauve. The quality was quite disappointing; I know the brand can do better, but ignoring their history, the mattes were thin, powdery, and prone to sheering out, which made them shorter-wearing and likely to muddy during application. I haven’t been as impressed by the brand in the last few years, and this is no exception–this one makes me question how many more eye quads I’m willing to waste money on going forward!

Tom Ford frequently includes a more emollient, often sheerer, sparkly shade in their quads, but the ones included in Ambrosia were quite dry and firmer, which made them difficult to pick up, have poor adhesion, and more prone to fallout.

Tom Ford Beauty Dark Opulence Eye Color Quad ($90.00 for 0.35 oz.) was a disappointment through and through and made me feel every bit of $90 poorly spent. Two of the shades were nightmarish to use as they were thin and had such a deep, blackish base that the sheerness coupled with the texture made them nigh on impossible to blend out well.
