  1. Scientific Housewife

I would use MAC Grand Entrance under the brow and in the inner corner, Woodstock on the lid and lower lashline, and blend UD Twice Baked in the crease. I would use UD liner in Bourbon to finish the look.

  2. I’ve used neon shadows before in kind of a hybrid cat eye/smoky look and it looks FIERCE for a night out. Using a smudge brush I do a soft line of the bright (in this case this fuschia shade)in kind of an 80’s V-extension just past the eye and thin it out as I get towards the inner corner. I also do a very thin line on the lower lash line and connect it to the upper at my outer corner. At this point I would have the dreaded “rabbit eye” look, so to make it work, I apply a dark matte or sparkly black, following the same lines as I did with the pink, but thinner, so the pink peeks out and the black serves just to make it emphasize the eye more. Again a little bit thinner on the bottom line too. I finish with gel liner packed into the lash line to further separate the whites of the eyes from all the pink and pile on the mascara. Soft lips and cheeks just look wrong with something this intense, so just to balance it, I use a sheer juice berry stain.

  3. Ooo, that’s a nice color. I’d probably use an equally vibrant yellow eye shadow as well. And the lips would be peach, just because.

Since it’s such a vibrant color, I’d probably just put it in the crease w/ something like Midnight Cowboy all over the lid. I’d wear a pale pink or rosey blush, maybe something like MAC’s Pink Swoon or Benefit’s Sugarbomb, and a light pink lip gloss. I’d probably wear Flusterose or Pinkarat.

  5. I keep meaning to get this one, but I’m broke!

I’d love it in the crease, with MAC Swish on the main lid, and mAC Stars N Rockets blended above the crease to soften it out. Fyrinnae Chaotic Evil would also be good with it.

It would also make a nice look with Fyrinnae Sennyo, and Parental advisory in the crease(both are rich pinky-purples)

Or star violet in the crease, with this blended in the corner, and a softer pinkish tone like Swish on the main lid.

It might be “too much” very easily, but I’d love to try this with my MUFE Aqua Cream Color Fuchsia.
I do like the cateye idea-I LOVE doing that type of thing as well!

At this very moment I have it paired with Eden primer potion, UD Ecstasy on the outer corners and in the crease, L’Oreal HIP Exciting pigment under the brow and inner corners, Ecstasy liquid liner on upper lashline, Lust 24/7 on lower lashline, Zero on waterline, Dior Iconic mascara, Dior browstyler, Benefit Coralista blush, and Dior Crystal gloss.

I went to Sephora to buy this (and free love) but they were out of both! Good thing I’m going back on Thursday because they said they get shipments in on Wednesday.
I would probably pair it with Urban Decay Sphinx, just seems like the two would work well together.

  8. Kayla

MAC Satin Taupe on lid. Woodstock in crease. MAC Shroom as highlight and inner corner. Black winged liner.

  9. Gina

UD Stray Dog e/s or MAC Sweet Sienna pigment swept over the top.

  10. Claire

I would probably use this with a pencil brush and run it along my lash line like a liner (Wet it down a little bit) then apply a black liner and mascara. For the cheeks I would use a bright pink blush as well, such as MACs Dollymix then tone it down with a nude lip with pink shimmer like MACs Feeling Dreamy gloss.(LOVE that gloss btw!)

  11. Jennifer

i’d use woodstock on the lid, a deeper shade of purple/pink in the crease and outer V, and blend it into black to make a smokey eye. it would look similar to my smokey eye look that i use with Last Call (also from UD – favorite eye shadow everrr). mascara and a cat-eye eyeliner and you’re good to go.

cheeks? probably just Well Dressed by MAC. or Sugarbomb by Benefit for a more sparkly look.

lips.. i’d just go for a light pink. or if you’re into the nude lip this look could probably handle it.

hmm. now i want to try this out lol.

  12. Lauren

For anyone who knows: how similar is Woodstock to Mac’s Romping (C-Shock & HK collections)? I am dying to find a dupe for Romping, since I never bought it. Kicking myself for that!

    • mac’s romping is nowhere near the same color as woodstock if your looking for a dupe of that try urban decay’s fishnet eyeshadow on top of woodstock. Romping is a hot pink BUT it has a blue-violet duochrome and its wayy darker.

  13. rowan

i would wear it heavy on the lid blended out to something like dazzlelight es, with winged black liquid eyeliner, and 2 coats of mascara. i do this often with hot pink. sadly this eyeshadow isn’t available in the uk, but i might buy it on ebay, as i’m an urban decay addict!

  14. Nicole

For the Inner lid and highlight I use Freelove, for the outer lid blending into Freelove and blending upward almost to the brow bone I use Woodstock, and then For the crease color I use Psychedelic Sister. For the waterline I use Mildew eyeliner. And Let me tell you, it makes the green in my eyes pop like nothing else.

  15. steph

I use Hotpants on the inner tear duct, Fishnet in the middle, and Woodstock on the outer V
