i’d keep it light but still dramatic and go with a black liner cat eye to balance the color without applying a full eye shadow look.

  2. For a summery look with this lipstick I love it with somthing like Smile dazzleglass, it gives it a kinda of juicy strawberry effect that’s beautiful! I like to pair it with a bronzey colour in the crease and a light gold on the lid, or any neutral summery sort of combination. I like a peachy pink blush look with this and a little bit of contouring or bronzer but since I’m so pale I’ve got to be really comfy

For a sort of wintery looks it’s beautiful with a taupe, black and white smokey eye and a redish blushed just-from-the-cold flush

  3. I am in LOVE with this kind of pink right now! I’d create a look with long lashes and some eyeliner. I wouldn’t want to take the focus away from the lips. I’d probably add a lip liner that was a tad darker than the lipstick to make it really stand out. :)

Schiap is one of my favorite bright pink lipsticks! I’d pair it with a champagne and bronze smoky eye. Starting with a bit of eye primer, then champagne shadow on the lids and a soft chocolate bronze in the crease. Maybe a little silver ivory in the inner corners, and a matte chocolate in the outer V. I’d pair this with luminous skin, maybe adding a brightening serum and highlighter. I’d skip blush because the color from the lipstick already attracts so much attention!

Oh my gosh this is to bright for me! So I think I would go pretty neutral on everything. I think it would look nice on someone who is really tan :)

  6. baby in a corner

thick black false lashes – i like eyelure glamour 108 and liquid eyeliner. a little pink blusher – urban decay quickie and some nars the multiple in luxor on cheekbones.

  7. Andrea

A smokey grey/silver eye, maybe Chanel Smokey Eyes Quad and a touch of Narcisse or Bobbi Brown Peony blush on the cheekbone.

  8. a super blck winged cateye, with white-creamy coloured (almost nude) eyeshadow, well defined eyebrows. make the lipstick stand out XD

  9. Heather

I’ll do a black winged you with minimal shadow, or even just black mascara and a nude liner on the water line. I let the schiap do the talking!!! and I always have to put on Cindy Lauper’s She-bop when I put it on 😉

  10. Sasha B

simple- mascara, define brows, contour alittle with matte powder, and a sheer gold lipgloss

  11. Sonia

I wear Schiap with either just eyeliner and mascara, or just mascara. As far as cheeks, no blush, just bronzer. The lippie is bold and can look easily over done if worn with blush.

  12. Azaza

I’d go with neutrals and peach blush with that lipstick

  13. Dollz

What’s the best way to apply Schiap? I finally found a tube here after it being sold out in 5 stores. I love the color but wanted a muted effect for work. Somehow the matte texture is hard to work with.

  14. I think I would let the lipstick be the star and do some light contouring on the cheeks and eyes. Maybe MAC vanilla on the lid and either smudge smolder kohl into the lashline or Boot Black liquid liner in a cat eye shape. Nothing too fancy but add some lush lashes! I LOVE to take statement lipcolors and put them on display!

this was for my make-up school finals. the theme was makeup balance – neutral eyes and cheeks and fuchsia pout (NARS Schiap) instead of red lips

  16. Annie

I like pairing a bright blue liner with hot pink lips and pinkish cheeks. so 80’s 😀

  17. Christy

My Nars Shiap nail polish, Lancome Pink Pave eyeshadow duo and black eyeliner. I’ve been meaning to get this lipstick forever but something always catches my eye instead.

  18. Marissa

I’d pair NARS Schiap lipstick w/ a strong, groomed brow- pair it w/ a plush, volumizing mascara and a white/pearlescent eyeliner for the inner rims of the bottom lash line! My inspiration would be Elizabeth Taylor (even though she’s known for wearing more red and coral lips) and/or Camilla Belle. It’s fun, young, bold- yet classic and lady-like.
