I tried M.A.C quad Bare my Soul + Benefit Bad Gal, it’s a very pretty quad, so wearable and classy.
Today : a Kiko bronzing blush + Sheer Seduction lipstick and this afternoon Caliente. Great lipsticks I love them. Caliente reminds me of Glitter and Ice Soft Sable in a way, I mean for the colour range but clearly it’s much more intense and has a lot of shimmer/glitter in it which is beautiful.
This week I also tried again Dior Peacock + a LE Bourjois coloured mascara + Kiko bronzing blush ( I have 2 in fact both are very good and not pricey ) + Chanel RC Liaison or RCS Suspense ( very pigmented and easy to wear though ).
On my toes : Essie DJ play that song which is NOT a Neon but is a nice shade though ( easily wearable ) esp. when used with a gel topcoat to brighten the shade and make it glossy ( matte ).

  2. Cat

Eyes: Mac Soft Ochre all over, Sephora Snakeskin Dress eyeshadow, Mac Gorgeous Gold, Maybelline Great Lash
    Face: MUFE HD Foundation
Cheeks: Tarina Tarantino Neopolitan Lane Dollskin Cheek with a little The Body Shop Brush on Radiance
Lips: NYX Megashine Lipgloss in Clear

  3. I’ve never thought about combining purple and coral, but you totally made it work! Now I feel the impulse to dig some shades out and experiment!

This week my favorite look is slightly out of my comfort zone. I used Chanel Blue Bay Stylo Eyeshadow all over my lids with some Notorious to contour and tone the color down a little. I went with Chanel Rose Initiale on my cheeks, and Edward Bess Island Blossom as well as Chanel Envolee on my lips!

  4. Face: MAC Face & Body (N1), MAC Studio Finish Concealer (NW 20)
Eyes: Urban Decay Sin e/s, Rimmel Scandaleyes in Nude (on waterline), Estee Lauder Sumptuous Waterproof mascara
Cheeks: Maybelline Dream Sun Bronzer in Matte Light, Stila Peony cream blush, Bare Minerals Pure Radiance highlighter
Lips: Revlon Tutti Frutti Lip Butter

  5. Such gorgeous colors, wish we had all the L’Oreal range in Germany, some of them are very hard to find.

My favorite of this week was the look I did with Armani’s all over bronze palette, I like this very polished, not over the top look of it, also combined with Bronzer and orange or coral lips. Eye Makeup is here:

Love it! I always look forward to your eyeshadow reviews the most because I love the way you do them!! So pretty and fun!

  7. Oh yeaaah, that was a great look indeed! Such lovely warm shades you used.

  8. Brenda

I was totally inspired and tried out the New Wave look (video) from Nars.

    – I used MAC pro Canary as the base yellow and patted the light yellowy gold shade from Shiseido trio 804, over top and to blend out the edges of Canary.
    – Brule to blend out more and clean up under brows..
    – Linedupper lashes with NYC black liquid liner, lower lashes were lined with MAC Magnetized (holiday 2009).
    – Mascara was CG Lashblast and Yves Rocher in Navy
    – cheeks were dusted with Fleur power and a beauty powder – bronzy brown that I can’t recall it’s name – white package….
    – lips were MAC Myself lipstick

  9. This was such an interesting combination you put together here, Christine.

I haven’t had a lot of time for makeup this week and gone nekkid for the most part; at best putting low effort into tinted moisturizer, doing my brows, slapping a bit of TF escapade on my lids, mascara, and lip balm.

  10. Ooh! Love those shades together! I’ll have to find some similar shades in my collection to see if I can make that sort of combination work.

  11. My favorite look this week was a purple smokey eye which I paired with a sheer glossy red lip! I think the combination is great for evening wear especially for people with green/hazel eyes!

I used Inglot eye shadows to create the eyes and on the lips, I used Colorbar Shy Cherry lipstick as stain topped with Rimmel London Vinyl lip gloss ‘Lovesick’.

  12. That is a great eyeshadow combo, Christine!

My favorite look was an extremely simple and basic smokey eye with Guerlain Reve all over the lid and blended into the crease, Burberry Porcelain to brighten the inner corner and MAC Blank Type on the brow bone. Black eyeliner. Kevyn Aucoin Myracle the cheeks (applied very lightly!) and Dior Addict Espiegle on lips.

  13. Christina J.

Eyes:NYX base in white pearl,Too Faced In the Buff blended down from brow bone, Maybelline Color Tattoos Waves of White as a wash on lids, Uban Decay Aura(white half) from Glinda on lower lashlne (BTW I feel like waves of white is a VERY close dupe in cream form for Aura), and Too Faced Vintage Violette (from Matte Eyes) lightly in the crease and outer v.Then swept Aura over the Vintage Violette. Revlon ColorStay Liquid Liner on upper lashes, winged a tiny bit, some generic black pencil liner on lower lashline. UltraFlesh mascara. Anastsia Brow Wiz in Medium Ash on brows.
Face: Dior Nude in 023 Foundation, Maybelline PureStay Powder on T-zone, Too Faced Bronzed&Poreless Bronzing Powder all over, Benefit Hoola to contour, NYX Taupe to contour, Beneft Hervana blush on cheekbones(this goes great with the violette tone e/s!) Benefit Wat’s Up on cheekbones & cupid’s bow.
Lips: some generic nude lipliner, MAC pushglass in Butterfly Dream (beautiful light purple/pink color that I can no longer find, so I use this sparingly) if anyone knows where to find, pease let me know as MAC o longer sells it:(

  14. Face: Bobbi Brown skin foundation, YSL four seasons bronzer in 00 nude, and Bobbi Brown blush in soft pink.

Eyes: UD anonymous on lid with laced through the crease and UD corrupt dotted super close to the lash line (top only). I used my Dior new look and Clinique bottom lash mascaras.

Lips: Givenchy lip/cheek balm stain thing in peach.

  15. Andrea

MAC Sea and Sky eyeshadow duo, MAC St Germain lipstick, a-england Tristam nails with Nails Inc accent nail in Piccadilly Arcade.

  16. I was in Walgreens today bumming around the makeup section and just by chance I saw the display for these shadows tucked up on a top shelf in a strange location. I was so excited!! I bought 3 of the 4 colors available (at buy 1 get one 1/2 off no less!) and really love them. They are so soft and buttery feeling. I want to attempt your look but am feeling a bit intimidated so I think I will wait until I have a day to stay in the house so I can play around.
