What we're Wearing

My favorite look this week was… (Technically, probably closer to last week, but whatever!) On eyes: Fyrinnae Jade Ghost, Fyrinnae Bitey Tyrannosaur, Fyrinnae Sleepy Hollow, Burberry Trench Eyeshadow, Urban Decay Deep End Eyeliner, MAC Opulash Mascara.

The only look I wore this week was Sugarpill Love+ all over the lid blended out with Sugarpill Tako and Love+ lightly under the eye. More mascara than I usually wear and only chapstick on the lips.

I found my HG foundation this week by accident: Stila Illuminating powder foundation in 30 watts. LOVE it!! And the Stila illuminating bb cream, Bobbi brown corrector in peach, benefit Fake Up in light, Stila convertible color in Gladiola, Rimmel accelerator mascara. I want everything Stila now!!

The light orange-y shade from Chanel Séduction all over the lid, the brown shade in the crease, and a cat flick with a Sephora black eyeliner. Of course, the rain had to ruin it all!
I also wore Chanel Rouge Allure Laque in Mandarin. That stuff is awesome.

    Very beautiful makeup Christine !
    As always simple combinations :

    – Bobbi Brown Nude Pink blush + Chanel Rouges Coco in Liaison or Sentiment or Dior Addict Extreme in Spring Ball
    – Benefit Coralista + Kiko smart lipstick 913
    – Sephora stick blush ( adapt blush ) + Guerlain gloss d’Enfer in Red Pow
On my eyes most often Lancôme Hypnôse palette in Fraîcheur Rosée and Chanel le Volume mascara in plum.

On my toes : Chanel Cinéma

  6. I loved the fire glow illuminating eye shadow from Laura Mercier Folklore collection this week, combined with earth glow from the same collection, here are the results:

  7. I’ve been loving MAC Old Gold pigment this week! I love to wear gold shadow with an orange or coral cheek and complimenting lips. That is typically my go-to face.

  8. Gorgeous eye look! I am experimenting with a new Smashbox palette this week. I have yet to pick a favorite look but they all turned out pretty good!

Yesterday, I got out Inglot 419 and Stila Starlight. Starlight all over the lid right up to the brow and 419 on the outer half of the lid and into the crease, which I then darkened with the dark side of the Bare Minerals duo I have (The Escape, I think), GOSH Black Ink to line. Tarte Natural Beauty on cheeks, MAC Lustering on my lips. Today, for my daughter’s bridal shower, I went all out – Hourglass primer, foundation, setting powder and the same Tarte blush. I did a look I’ve come to love with MAC Sumptuous Olive on the lid and crease and then the crease darkened with a bit of UD Creep and again, I lined my eyes with black pencil and, as it was an “occasion”, I even wore mascara. I used Nars Damage on my lips but wish I’d put on something a bit more lasting as it was gone in no time and I was having way too much fun to find the time even to find my purse, let alone put on more lipstick. Note to self: wear an Amplified Cream next time!
