Mostly The Body Shop Macaron blush ( so lovely ! ) + M.A.C Après Chic, pretty but not very long-wearing.
On my lips for Valentine’s Day : Nars Funny Face and in the afternoon Absolute Power
On toes : OPI The Spy who Loved me

  2. That look is lovely! It reminds me of the MAC Turquatic bottle. *_*

As for me? I have been really lazy looks-wise (I’m having a phase where my foundations all feel really claggy on my skin and it just makes me not want to wear anything), but probably:
eyes: rimmel scandaleyes eye pencil in bulletproof beige, scandaleyes liner in taupe, and rimmel glam’flirt volume and lift mascara.
    cheeks: benefit hervana
    lips: tinted lip balm.
I’m really pushing the boat out on creativity this week!

Lovely look, Christine! I’m always impressed by the way you make bright colours work.

On tuesday we had the school carnival, and I came as Rosie the Riveter. I wanted to be a recognizable feminist icon (funny thing is, unbeknownst to me, another girl had chosen to come as a suffragette!), so what I wore was my favourite look of the week:
I wanted to draw attention to the eyes (due to Rosie’s piercing stare) while still remaining rather natural. I used the fleshy shade of BareMinerals The rare find all over the lid, then UD Buck in the crease to add some depth, and UD Virgin on the brow bone to highlight. I lined my upper and lower lash line with a black MUFE pencil.
I used Nars Orgasm on my cheek, and dabbed a touch of Chanel Calypso glossimer at the center of my lips to reproduce the reddish-orangey tones of the poster. I also drew a feminist symbol (the symbol for women with a fist in the middle) on the back of my hand with the MUFE pencil.
It was a lot of fun! The expression on my teacher’s face when he realized what my costume was was priceless.

  4. I loved my Valentine’s Day look! More info (and pics) here: http://dtan0914.blogspot.com/2013/02/valentines-day.html

On my eyes I used Smashbox Limitless 15 Hour Cream Eyeshadow in Stone as the base for my smokey eye, and topped it off with the brown shades from the Too Faced The Return of Sexy palette. After that I lined the eyes and used falsies of course – I usually always wear them. For my blush I mixed MAC Pearlmatte Face Powder in Flatter Me and Mineralize Blush in Amber Glow together and stippled it on my cheeks, and applied Geek Chic Cosmetics Blush in Rotten Miracles on top with a NARS Yachiyo Brush. On my lips was OCC Liptar in Super NSFW.

For Vday I wasn’t feeling great but still did some makeup, it turned out better than expected.

    Face: Prescriptives Flawless Skin Foundation
Cheeks: Tarina Tarantino Dollskin Cheek in Parasol
Eyes: A hot pink/fuschia eyeshadow from NYX, Mac Blacktrack Fluidline, Maybelline Great Lash Mascara
    Lips: Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment

  6. Oh yeah, I loved this look, good pick!

This look is unreal – love it!!

  8. I love how you put these colors together! It’s so bright and fun!

This week my favorite look was a very blended smokey eye done with Hourglass Suede, Exhibition, and the lighter shade in Dune. I had LMdB Tenne on my cheeks, Becca Opal Shimmering Skin Perfector to highlight, and LMdB Coral Rose layered over Guerlain Ballade on my lips:

  9. I wore MAC’s “Shale” eyeshadow on top of the “Rubenesque” paint pot. Although it sounds like a strange combination, it was absolutely gorgeous! I would highly recommend it. :) I am shocked by how lovely it turned out.

What a coincidence! I’d left Shale unused for months but wore it Friday in the crease and outer corner, with Vex all over the lid and I think I used Shroom on the browbone. I also got out Her Blooming Cheek (MAC LE) for blush and Total Wow on my lips.

  10. I did a great look that I’m really proud of, using my beloved Naked2. Verve, YDK and Half Baked blended softly on the lid. Suspect and Chopper mixed in the crease with just a touch of snakebite in the outer V. I pulled it together with a metallic gold eyeliner. I love it, I think I’m going to be wearing it pretty often. I have a few pics and a written tutorial for it:

  11. my favorite look was on Valentine’s day. I wore the Wet n Wild eyeshadow trio in Sweet as Candy, Stila Kitten lip glaze, The balm blush and Inglot face highlighting powder. it was really light pink & feminine.

  12. This is so stunning on you! Just love these colours. Makes me long for Summer, which is more when I break out these sort of looks.

My favourite look this week involved the first couple of items I picked up from the Guerlain Spring collection- the Attrape-Coeur palette and Rendez-Vous lipstick. I always associate light, cool purples with Spring and so, despite the fact that it was still very much sub-zero here most of the time, it made me feel like the warmer weather was coming.

More details and photos of the look are here: http://morelikespace.blogspot.ca/2013/02/making-faces-guerlain-loves-lilacs-and.html

  13. My favorite eye look this week was created using Urban Decay shadows in Radium, Peace, Freelove, Fishnet, Walk of Shame, and Psychedelic Sister. Here is a picture of it:

I was in a colorful, fun mood since I was recovering from a wisdom tooth extraction and the previous week I was in too much pain waiting for my appointment to care about makeup lol.

I always get super excited when I see your looks using yellow, blues, and/or greens! I know I have made this remark previously, too. It just reminds me of the good old LJ days, lol. :)

I didn’t actually have a favorite look of the week until yesterday’s makeup. I grabbed my three UD Naked Palettes, and I created my new favorite “minimal” eye makeup look. I used Bootycall all over the lid then Buck in the crease with Naked to blend around the edges then I used Virgin on the inner corner and browbone. I’m not particularly fond of Virgin all on its own on my browbone, so I layered WOS on top (which I’m also not particularly fond of on its own, either, lol), and it ended up making the perfect “satin” finish! On the lower lashline, I used Faint and a tiny bit of Crave then used Naked 2 to slightly blend out the edges. It gives me the perfect minimal eye makeup look even though I’m still using the same amount of shadows I would for a more made up look, LOL. Finished it off with the MAC NC15/NW20 Pencil on my lower waterline and lots of mascara.
