Mostly Chanel Frivole blush + M.A.C Innocence lipstick. But also Dior blush in Pink Happiness and at last my first Laura Mercier product Free Spirit baked eyeshadow palette ( very pretty indeed, I love these pastel shades ).
On my toes Sally Hansen Plum’s the World, I haven’t changed my pedi yet, it’s so long wearing !

  3. pretty look. my favorite hands down was Hourglass eyeshadow duo in Gypsy. on my lips I wore Too Faced Cinnamon Kiss which Im pretty sure I bought because of your review. I topped it with Too Faced Glamour Glosss in Barely Legal. loving the combo. and on cheeks my new stila blush. on lashes Hourglass Mascara and Urban Decay 24/7 liner in zero. Bronzer- Physicians formula How To Bronze Matte Bronzer and my new Juice Beauty CC cream which im also loving though its not full coverage I used my Physicians Formula BB concealer where I needed it.

  4. I LOVE this look on you! The ones you did for Archie’s Girls are amazing too. I think I prefer Veronica to Betty, but really both are adorable!

This week my favorite look is done with Guerlain Flirt Shine Automatique! I kept the eyes simple, just some Burberry Pale Barley and Bobbi Brown Wheat. I went with Chanel Rose Initiale on the cheeks (now come to think of it I need a fuchsia blush) and that was that! Gotta give it to a bold lipstick. Everything else can be minimized :)

It was so nice to see a collection with great performing shadows. I actually wanted to get some of these…well, more like all of them. I have fairly close dupes so I resisted. A refreshing change for MAC, I think.

    Really simple look:

    Face: Meow Cosmetics Mineral Foundation
    Blush: Bare Minerals Escape Blush
Eyes: Prescriptives Gel Eyeliner in black, applied in thick, winged line

    Love the look, Christine.

I’ve been keeping it very simple lately. Here’s my favorite look from the week:

eyes: Laura Mercier Eye Canvas in EC-5, L’oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara
Brows: Anastasia Brow powder in brunette
Face: UD Surreal Skin Mineral Powder Foundation, Benefit Porefessional Primer, Coty Airspun Finishing powder (Sometimes I like to spray MUFE Mist and Fix if I look too powdery)
Cheeks: L’oreal True Match in Soft Sun (W7 &8)
Lips: Revlon Toast of New York

For eyes, I used the peachy shade of Chanel Eclosion all over the lid, the beige on the brow bone and the plum as a liner, layered over an old greyish plum Dior pencil my mother gave me.
    On cheeks: Nars Orgasm
On lips: Chanel Rouge Coco Mademoiselle
Nothing groundbreaking, but it made me feel nice!

  10. Great look! My favorite look of the week is the one I am wearing today: holographic dark khaki eyeshadow combined with black!

I actually copied this look yesterday, Christine, using shadows I have already and I was so pleased with the results. I don’t usually wear anything coppery or orange but I did with this look – I used Bragging Rights from the BM Star Treatment palette in place of Aztec Brick and MAC Indian Ink in place of Altered States. I used my beloved GOSH Metallic Brass to line my upper lash line and smudged a bit under my lower lashes, rather than using the Bragging Rights under my eyes. I was surprised by how much I liked Bragging Rights on my lids though – I will be using it a lot more. I’m still trying to finish up MAC’s Desert Rose Blush so I wore that and Clarins Raspberry Gloss Prodige on my lips.

    Beautiful look!!!

My son wanted me to wear blue eyeshadow today! I copied a look that Christine did using UD’s Vice palette: blitz and unhinged on my lid with chaos in the crease, then used a black liquid liner with lots of black mascara (Lancome’s Hypnos). Nars Orgasm on cheeks, and a pale Clinique gloss in Mango.

Nothing big for me, but I did my roommate’s makeup for her before a date with a very intense smoky eye with Chanel Mirifique. I used this look from My Funny Valentine as the base concept: http://myfunnyvalentineblog.com/2011/11/chanel-illusion-dombre-mirifique-review-swatches-fotd.html

My rooommate has a darker skintone than her, so I used a darker palette of colors: Chanel Mirifique drawn intensely across the maind lid, Milani Pitch Black eyeshadow swept in the corners and into the crease and slightly below the eye, then I mixed a few browns together and swept it into the crease to create a soft gradient into her brow bone. Bold, black eyeliner on the lower lash line. She didn’t have any nude tone lipsticks, so I took a light touch of concealer and swiped it over her lips to tone them down.

    She was very happy. :D

This is my all time favorite look on you!! I actually have Estee Lauder’s copper and amethyst shadows, and thought Cliniques’s beige might work for all over they eye, and a dark brown in place of the carbon. I love the pix that you put up to illustrate how you do a look, but honestly, written directions with the pictures would be so helpful!! If my EL copper is not dark enough, I really want the MAC Aztec brick. Copper brown shades pick up my hair and the copper circle around my pupil inside my green eyes! I never would have thought to use a darker color under the purple to emphasize it. These are the tricks that you could write under the pictures to help us amateurs. Otherwise, we are doomed to put on the same neutral colors everyday!! I was in Ulta and they were having a 20% off coupon and I actually bought the Bare Escentuals quad with the gold, red and green that you did an eye look with in November. I remembered how beautiful the look was on you and decided to use my coupon to buy the quad and try the look myself. So you do have an effect on our purchases by guiding us to good products and then instructing us how to use them. Thank you for that, from all of us.
