Whoaa that’s a whole lotta Chanel! Can’t wait for the spring collection to be available here!
This week my favorite look is the trial run for what I’ll wear on NYE. I laid GA ETK 25 all over my lids, patted some Bobbi Brown Olive Sparkle (from the Rich Caviar palette) in the center, and put some Black Topaz in the outer corners. After my gel liner, I went over the lower lash line with Bobbi Brown Rich Caviar.
I had Chanel Rose Initiale on my cheeks, Notorious to contour, and Dior Diorling Diorific on my lips. It’s definitely not something I’d wear every day, but for a night out it’s not over the top!

I started out yesterday with Benefit Creaseless Cream eye shadow in Birthday Suit on my lids and Gosh Metallic Brass liner. Clarins Everlasting foundation (which I haven’t worn in ages; I’d forgotten just what a beautiful finish it gives) and MAC Early Morning blush and some lip balm. I had to rush out to do a few quick errands and didn’t have the time or inclination to put on more than the bare minimum. When I got back, I put Benefit Where There’s Smoke on my outer lids and some MAC Brun in the crease and put Cover Girl Fervor on my lips as my husband wanted to take me out for dinner (we left the kids to fend for themselves; they seemed a bit shocked!). That Cover Girl lipstick sits sort of forgotten in my desk drawer but it’s so nice I really need to remember to use it more often.
I love your earrings!
Thanks, Sue!
You look beautiful as always Christine.
Today Im wearing Hourglass No 28 Primer Serum, Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation, Hourglass Hidden Concealer in Fair, Illume Bronzer/Highlighting Duo, Vol 6 Eye palette (bottom 3 colors). Urban Decay Cannonball Mascara because its snowing outside so needed something waterproof
On Lips, Hourglass Extreme Sheen gloss in Child. All topped off with ELF setting spray. Ive been wearing Hourglass a ton lately, their products are so luxurious
A very lovely makeup Christine !
I tried my Dior Blush in Rose Dragée ( what a lovely pale blush ! ) with a Kiko gloss or Chanel Destinée. I also used M.A.C Rosy Outlook blush ( MY perfect blush ! ) with a bold Kiko lipstick ( very intense red, totally nourishing texture but not a long wearing one at all ), on my toes a flattering Kiko glitter nail polish ( red ).
That lip color is beautiful on you!
Face: Nars radiant tinted moisturiser in St Moritz, BobBi Brown creamy concealer kit in Honey,Guerlain meteorites compact pressed powder in Teint Dore, Burberry bronzer in summer glow, Nars blush in Sin, Nars Albatross highlighter.
Eyes: Laura Mercier eyeshadows in Sesame, African Violet, kir Royale and Topaz; Laura Mercier Kohl pencil in Black Violet, Nars Larger than Life Volumising mascara.
Lips: Nars Risky Business gloss.
Pretty as always!!!
My favorite look this week was my Christmas makeup!
Face: Hourglass Nº 28 Primer Serum, Bare Minerals Matte Foundation and Bare Minerals Original Foundation
Cheeks: Nars Albatross Highlighter
Eyes: I used my new Bare Minerals The Star Treatment palette. Extravagance on inner lid, Connoisseur over lid, Kudos in crease, Carte Blanche under eyebrow, UD Perversion as eyeliner under eye. Prescriptives Lash Envy mascara.
Lips: NYX Chic Red with some clear gloss with Mac Naked pigment over it
I swear every time I comment here, I’ve used UD’s Naked. Not intentional, I swear!
But:
Foundation – Lush Colour Supplement in Light Pink and Maybelline Fit Me in 115.
Concealer – UD’s 24/7 concealer in FBI.
Cheeks – Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Soft Plum, with Canmake Cream Blush in 08 to highlight.
Eyes – Soap and Glory “It’s About Prime” primer, UD’s Naked in the lid and crease, Virgin to highlight, and Hustle, Buck, and Naked in the crease. Lush Intuitive eyeshadow as a flicked liner.
Lips – Chanel Rouge Coco in Mademoiselle.
I love what you did there!
Mine was my Christmas look: I used Guerlain Les Gris (which I had got the day before!): the top shade all over the lid and as a highlighter, the grey matte shade in the crease, the blue shade layered on top in the crease, and in the outer corner, the silver shade in the inner corner.
I also used an Armani ETK mascara, Chanel Rose Initial blush and my Guerlain Samsara lipstick! It had a lot of success.
That look does look fresh and beautiful and Spring-like. We just had the largest snowstorm ever here, which is saying something, because we get LOTS of snow!
My favourite look this week was actually the one I had on Christmas Day: The Chanel Harmonies du Soir palette (with Inglot #351 to highlight and Stila Lionfish on my water lines), Nars Sin blush and Bobbi Brown High Shimmer lip gloss in “Naked Plum”.
Unfortunately, I was wearing it to accompany my mother to a police station to report her wallet missing, so that she could get a form from them that would allow her to get on the plane back home without identification… I suppose it’s a memorable way to spend Christmas.
Are you using the mac eyebrow creme in this?
No!
This is basically the makeup I’ve been wearing everyday this week.
