  1. Love itttt. Seriously, my neutrals obsession atm is ridic.

For that reason, my favourite look was using Naked:
    – Half Baked patted on the inner-lid
    – A mixture of naked and buck in the crease and outer lid
    – And a layer of darkhorse on the outer lid and under the eye.

    No eyeliner. Lots of mascara.

  2. That’s a great look. I can (finally!) wear eyeshadow again after having had eye surgery in October, and it feels sooooooooo good :-) My favorite look of the week is possibly the one I’m wearing today: a copper & black smokey eye.

  3. Nice subtle look Christine! Really something I would wear on an everyday basis. This week I made a look with a green eyepencil and some golden/orange eyeshadow from inglot.

  4. Dominique

I mostly used my KIKO makeup and the beautiful quads ” unexpected rosy taupe “, ” cool lapis lazuli “, ” unusual lavender” ” luxurious plum and gold ” among others, I also used my Bourjois lipstick ” jet set rouge ” and Benefit ” they’re real ” mascara.
on my toes Dior ” Marilyn ” and OPI ” Goldeneye” as a Christmas pedi.

Haha I’ve been waiting for this! My best look was actually one I tried on my sister in law, as she was going to a party- MAC Swish (frosty pink) on the inner third of the eyelid, an Inglot gold with a sort of lavender duochrome on the middle third, MAC Shimmermoss (shimmery aqua) on the end third and a bit of UD Minx (glittery teal) to add sparkle. She has a beautiful golden skin-tone and it looked so ethereal and lovely. And I could only watch in ENVY as the eyeshadow stayed for hours on her BARE eyelids. Meanwhile my look creased over primer… On my other sister in law I did a look with an Inglot bright matte pink with clear glitter on the inner half of the eyelid and then 418 (green on black base) and a black matte with orange glitter on the outer half. I’m kind of amazed I had colours that matched the outfits they were wearing…

I basically recreated your look with the bareMinerals The Rare Find quad. It looked mightily great! I used NARS Orgasm for my cheeks and my Chanel Calypso Glossimer on my lips!

Really pretty look, Christine! My favorite look this week was the first look I did with my new LORAC PRO Palette: I used LT Pink on a small portion of the inner lid (I stopped right where my iris starts) then put Slate on the rest of the lid with a black kohl liner smudged along my lashline to add depth then I darked the outer corner with Deep Purple and Black. In the crease I used Mauve then LT Pink above that to create a gradient, and I brought a little bit of the black up into the crease, too. On the browbone I used Cream then just right at the arch with a small brush and in the inner corner I placed Nude to brighten. I pushed black liner into the upper and lower lashline, and on the bottom lashline lid I placed Deep Purple then faded the edge with Mauve. Tons of mascara and nude liner on the bottom waterline finished it off. Used a matte nude blush to add balnce to all the cool tones then did a rosy MLBB with Pink Truffle from Revlon.

    I love that look, Christine.

My favorite look this week was completely simple. Armani foundation, Armani Blush Nr. 5, Painterly Paint Pot, Armani ETK Silk Nr. 9, MAC Mascara and Nars Orgasm lipgloss.

No makeup at all this week, my eye had something weird going on… almost looked like pink eye but thankfully it wasn’t!

Will you be reviewing the Lancome Petit Tresor shadow? I’ve been curious about it. It looks beautiful!

  11. OOO this is totally a look I’d wear happily!

This week my favorite look is a quick smokey eye with Hourglass Exhibition duo, LMdB Tenne, and Dior Incognito/Guerlain Lou-Ling!

  12. Susan Nevling

Nothing fancy and usually nothing but moisturizer. Flare up of rosacea or a butterfly rash. Not sure which but very bright red, bumpy and itchy. Waiting for lab results.
Did get the 3rd Urban Decay Naked palette. Much smaller than the others- 6 or 7 neutral colors. all matte, boring but needed. Tried on my hand and like the texture

  13. Those colours suit you really well. I’ve been thinking of getting “Dusk” for a long time, but I always wonder if it’ll end up looking like dirt on me.

I was working my butt off this week- it was very busy for me and my favourite look came around by accident, when I was in a hurry getting ready. I used a few colours from the Naked 1 palette (Smog, Half-Baked, Hustle and Virgin) to create a kind of low-key smoky eye. I used Stila’s Lionfish liner lightly along my lashes, just to give a bit of definition. Then I used Guerlain’s Terra Inca powder and Nars’ SIn on my cheeks and Nars Vendanges lipstick.

I have to say that the real winner here was the blush. Those two shades just glowed together. I tried it lightly just to see how it would look and I could immediately see my complexion get brighter.

  14. Mariella

One of the secretaries at one of the schools where I teach actually said how much she loved my eyeshadow on Thursday. I was wearing MAC Sumptuous Olive all over the “mobile” lid, with UD Creep blended very lightly into the outer crease and outer corner of my lid. I think I used black liner but it might have been Gosh Metallic brass. I brought the Sumptuous Olive under my lower lashes as well. I think I was wearing Marcelle BB cream set with MAC MSF and I had MAC Desert Rose on my cheeks (I am trying SO hard to finish that blush!) and Lustering on my lips.

  15. Hi Christine, lovely neutral eye makeup, I am guessing you wore a red lip with it, it would definitely look great with it!
This week I was wearing a couple of MAC Mineralize Eyeshadows from this year’s collections:
    Hope you like it! :-)
