On eyes: a Chanel duo,the Sable Emouvant one (I can’t seem to stop wearing it)! I use the lighter shade as a highlighter and as a wash on the lid, then I put the brown shade on the outer third and blended in the crease. On cheeks: Chanel Rose Initial blush (applied very lightly). On lips: Chanel Rouge Allure Lipgloss Caprice. And that’s it!

  2. Hmm I can’t see the pic, but if it’s your Thanksgiving look, then I already saw it on Facebook!

For this week, my favorite look is: Guerlain Liu Calligraphy Eye and Lip Palette on my eyes (the pale gold all over my lids to my socket line, the orangey copper on my lids, the silvery taupe on the outer corner, and the liner on my upper/lower lash lines and waterlines), Chanel Rose Initiale on my cheeks, and Guerlain Altoum on my lips!

Not super-exciting but I got out the rather huge sample of MAC’s Nebula pigment that I have. I applied it lightly/buffed and blended out on the lid with a darker application on the outer 1/3 of the lid and outer crease. That’s it – just that shadow and some black liner. Quick, easy and nice looking – just on the “edge” of being a bit edgy. Lustering on my lips and Dollymix on my cheeks.

  4. Mac Ready To Party eyeshadow over the whole lid to just above the crease with the blurpley colour from the Estee Lauder Violet Underground palette darker in the outer corner and blending lighter towards the inner corner with a little Sephora Aspen Summit highlighting under the eye w/ Lots o’ black mascara. Mac Red Racer on lips and A England Jane Eyre on nails. It sure was a vampy Monday!

My favorite look this week was with my new eyeshadow palettes. I used the star treatment, the lightest gold cream all over the lid, I forget the name right now. Then I took my lorac pro palette and used mauve in the crease, with pewter in the outer v and on the lower lashline. It was really simple. I used an dark shimmering blue as a thin liner on the upper lashline only using one of my inglot eyeshadows. I think it is a dupe for macs deep truth.

Really basic honestly, but I like putting little changes on my everyday look. I think I also put the nude color from the lorac pro palette on the inner eye area just to brighten it up a bit.

On the cheeks I just wore Mac Peaches, and I put nyx smoky look lipgloss on my lips to finish up the look.

  6. Yay for full face shots! Yay for (hopefully) upcoming reviews of Armani palettes. I’ve been wondering about those.

I don’t know that I had a particular favourite look this week, but the incredibly dry air in the office has forced me to start wearing lipstick + gloss rather than just lipstick. I almost always do one or the other. So this week has been about discovering lip combinations for me (and, yes, it is keeping my lips from getting all dehydrated). My favourites thus far have been Nars Vendanges + Downtown and Bobbi Brown Black Maple + Chanel Meteore. Both very autumn appropriate.

That’s a great natural look on you.

you are so pretty and your skin is so nice , clear and amazing. Tell me your skin care routine please…

  9. Goodness Christine–you are positively GLOWING in this pic. Gorgeous! Also, love your mustard yellow top–I LOVE mustard yellow! :)

My favorite look this week was probably just a super simple eye I created with Bobbi Brown Navajo all over as a base, MAC Quarry as a quick wash, and the purple shade on the right in the Nars Brousse duo in the outer corner and outer third of the lower lashline. MUFE’s Aqua black to tightline and Giorgio Armani’s waterproof eyeliner pencil went on the outer third of my upper lashline and was smudged out. Mascara and a touch of MAC Naked Lunch in the inner tear duct to finish! On my cheeks was a light dusting of Becca’s Mineral Blush in Sweetpea (my new favorite!) and lips were Giorgio Armani’s Gloss d’Armani in 518

So nice to see a full faced photo for this feature. I don’t remember wearing any significant makeup this past week. I mostly just put on enough to look alive. I did get a lot of compliments when I wore Bobbi Brown’s Pot Rouge in Blushed Rose on my lips.

Dammit Christine, I couldn’t see the photo before, but you look even more stunning than usual! You’re glowing. I love your mustard top too, the colour suits you well.

  12. Dominique

Mostly M.A.C Rosy Outlook with various lipsticks : Dior Diva among others. I also wore my Kiko eyeshadow palettes and a Sephora baked eyeshadow palette with Cargo blush in Lyon.
On my toes Deborah Lippmann Ray of Light but I am going to remove it soon, I’ll put a red nail polish again.

You look very natural, yellow is really nice on you Christine

I did a simple smokey look. I used my UD 15th Anniversary palette. I placed half-truth on the lid and blended it up above crease a bit. In the crease I used Ace and a bit of blackout to add depth. Used Lise Watier HD Feline liquid liner in Noir to line the upper part of eye, and UD perversion on the water line (excellent product). I used lots of Lancome Hpynose mascara in black. Simple but beautiful.

  14. Andrea

Nails China Glaze Aquadelic with accent nail in Nail Venturous Floam on left hand and China Glaze For Audrey with accent nail in China Glaze Kaleidoscope Him Out on right hand. Really old Dior irridescent purple/pink eyeshadows and pink lipstick. Shalimar perfume.

    Hi Christine,

Will you be reviewing Revlon Rose Pearl? Since I could never find Rose Gold I wondered if I’d like Rose Pearl..
