Wow, that is such a nice color combo on you!

This one is gorgeous, I should check Bare Minerals the rare find palette.
My fav from this week was the look with Estée Lauder’s violet underground

And I just got Guerlain’s Turandot eye shadow palette, but I think this one could be a bit more pigmented. The idea is very nice though. Here is the look with that one:

A very pretty Fall look Christine !

    Last week ?

Mostly Poudre Universelle Libre de Chanel in rose clair + M.A.C Rosy Outlook + M.A.C Deeply Adored on my lips. I tried again my Poudre Cristalline ( Chanel, discontinued ) and Benefit Bella Bamba ( I bought the 2 products 2 years ago I think, they’re still close to mint )
I tried the new Bon bons Palette ( the primer is not so good as the UD primer )+ the mascara Lashgasm
I also tried the Vice palette ( really beautiful ), a long-wearing new formula it seems.
on my toes ” Marilyn ” from Dior

That e/s look is just beautiful on your lovely eyes. It really compliments the color of your eyes. I so wish you would do tutorials. Thanks.

  5. Wow, these colors really suit your eyes. Reminds me of a warm autumn day.. Too bad that won’t suit my skintone :(

Oh my – the green shadow on the outer lid is so beautiful! Lovely look, Christine. I’ll have to think about shadows I wore this week that I liked.

    I love the look, Christine.

I haven’t worn makeup all week, so nothing to add.

Oh I love this look on you!

My favorite look was: Giorgio Armani ETK Intense Eyeshadow #14 (of course…!) on the lid, the brown shade of the Chanel Eyeshadow Duo named Sable Emouvant on the outer corner, the lighter shade in the inner corner and as a highlighter on the brow bone.
I wore the Chanel Rouge Allure gloss (or whatever the name of the range) named Caprice on the lips.
    And that’s it!

  9. I love how you combine these colors! The Rare Find seems like a great quad with an interesting combination!

This week my favorite look is done with mostly pieces from Dior Grand Bal. I used Night Golds on my eyes (the taupe all over my lids, the sparkling gold in the middle, and the darkest shade on the outer third), Sugar & Spice on my cheeks, and Diorling Diorific on my lips!

    What a pretty eye look!

This week I really loved my fall-inspired look- slightly smoky gold eye using the Naked Palette and berry lips.

Eyes- mix of Sidecar and Half Baked on the lid, Naked in the crease, a touch of Darkhorse in the outer crease and smudged under the eye, Virgin as browbone/inner corner highlight, black liner on the inner rims, black liquid liner on the top lashline, lots of black mascara.

Lips- Revlon Just Bitten balm stain in Crush. Perfecttt fall color and I am so impressed with the formula.

Face- Skin79 Super Gold Plus VIP bb cream, Kat Von d tattoo concealer, Rimmel stay matte powder, Benefit hoola to contour, theBalm Down Boy blush, theBalm Mary Lou-manizer to highlight.

  11. Laurie

Eyeshadow: Nars cream shadow Corfu(base), Dior Amber Design palette, MAC Blanc Type as a brow bone highlight
Eyeliner: MAC fluidline in Local Wares

My fav look this week were my Halloween/Fall inspired nails. A friend had taken a picture but I never did get it. I do want to recreate it again and post pics.

    1) 2 layers of a no name nail hardner
    2) 2 layers NYX NP 102 Sunset Blvd
    3) 2 layers Spolied S033 Vitamin C
    4) 1 layer Nail Life Speed Demon

I wore those for 1 day and the next evening I finished with:

    5) 1 coat WnW Wild Shine 424A Black Creme, carefully (less mess = less clean up) stippled with cling film (Saran Wrap)
    6) 1 layer NYX NP37 Pink Avenue
    7) 1 layer NYX NP38 Peach Avenue
    8) 1 layer NYX NP38 Peach Avenue (this one was darker than the above Peach Avenue)
    9) 1 coat Cina Top Coat
    10) 1 coat Nail Life Speed Demon

The NYX glitters gave the nail a duochrome of greens and oranges.
The NYX NP38 Peach Avenue were bought from a HauteLook sale and until that night I did not realize I had 2. The odd thing is one is lighter, while the other is darker. The glitters made for a nice contrast.

*** I’d defo let each layer set before going on to the next.

I just got the Cinderella storylook yesterday. I was a football widow last night, so I played around with it and came up with a look I love!
I did Palace on the lid, Chateau on the outer 1/3, Kill Joy in the crease, A Wish on the brow bone and Pumpkin Coach along the lower lashes. (ok, I’m going to use something else on the lower lashes, it didn’t show up as well as I’d like)
I also am in love with Destined, but haven’t figured out how I want to wear it yet. Maybe just all over the lid and crease. Man is this a great palette!

    4) e.l.f. eyeshadow primer
5)Pure Luxe Cosmetics mineral powder foundation in Babyface
6)Ben Nye blush in Passion Purple
    7) Pure Luxe eye liner in Pin-up, a deep plum
8)Inglot M390 (medium taupe brown) on lids, UD Heist (matte deep taupey purple) in creases,MAC Yogurt to highlight browbones, inner lids

    9)Blinc mascara in black
    10) MAC Violetta lipstick, topped with Date Night Dazzleglass

Okay, remembered a nice look from earlier this week – Mac Patina on the lid, Centre Stage in the crease and outer V, as well as smudged under my lower lashes. Gosh Metallic Brass liner. Clarins Skin Illusion foundation, Mac Frankly Scarlet very lightly on cheeks and Clarins Raspberry Gloss Prodige on my lips. I set the whole shebang with MAC Prep and Prime loose powder.

This eyeshadow combination looks amazing on you, Christine!
Also, I need to get UD’s Baked eyeliner. The more I see you wearing it, the more I want it! Haha

  19. Oh my gosh this is SO beautiful for fall! I LOVE the shades! These are colors that I really love to wear–must definitely check the palette out!

  20. tea-chan

Ohh, I really hope you post a review for that The Rare Find quad. It looks gorgeous in pictures but there’s no display quad at my Sephora to check out. :c

  21. Your look is really perfect for your eye colour, Christine!

I’ve been playing around with my Vice palette this week and also a few of MAC extra dimension eyeshadows. I really love the MAC shadows and they are absolutely top notch! However, I’m experiencing a fair bit of fallout with the more glittery shades of my UD vice palette: armor, occupy, rapture and jagged. I have not been wearing my usual primer though and perhaps this is a critical oversight for me and my hooded lids. In any event, despite the fallout issue, I am really impressed with the colour range in the palette. Fav look was the MAC evening grey with UD Occupy and just a touch of UD Black Market in the outer vee with Burberry trench transitioning to brow.

Those eyeshadows look gorgeous on you, Christine!

My favorite this week was a look that I’ve done several times. It might actually be my favorite muted green combo.

Eyes: MAC Dalliance on inner third of the lid, theBalm All About Alex on rest of the lid, MAC Flourishing in the crease and along the lower lashline, MAC Chamomile on brow bone.

    Cheeks: Tom Ford Lovelust

    Lips: Just some lip balm

Thanks for the reminder about All About Alex. I haven’t used it in ages and it actually is one of my favourite shadows. I may just dig it out (my makeup storage isn’t the greatest) and give this look a try.

Christine, will you be reviewing this quad? I was thinking of getting the new(er) Laura Mercier palette but now I’m thinking I might wait and see your review for the shadows you used in this look. It is really stunning.
