Last week I tried these makeups :

    – Chanel Tumulte( slight layer ) + Dior Diorling lipstick or M.A.C Musky Amethyst, Chanel Rose Initiale + the same liptsicks as above
    – Benefit Bella Bamba + M.A.C Glamour Daze
    – Chanel Malice + Chanel Rouge Coco in Paradis
    – Poudre Universelle Libre Chanel, Tumulte blush 2 layers
    – YSL Nuit Arctique palette + Benefit they’re Real
    – Essie Skirting the Issue on my toes, and also Carine Roitfeld Underfire Red
I realized how much the Poudre Universelle is worth the price, very very good loose powder indeed and I love my JC blushes ! I am glad I bought Tumulte, Rouge, Malice and Ultra Rose at the same time. One beauty adviser asked me if I bought every new blush from Chanel I said yes very often. Next week I will wear my Guerlain blush, and my M.A.C Rosy Outlook which I positively love. Maybe I’ll try Dramatic Encounter if I dare, and again very bright red lipsticks, even if people stare I love wearing them !

I’ve been wearing random shadows from my tarte Carried Away palette for the entire week. I *love* this palette so much, I haven’t even touched my UD Vice & Smoked palettes, yet! The shadows are so pigmented in the set, which really surprised me. I haven’t used any of the “quads” the way they are divided, so some looks weren’t as nice as I thought they’d be, but they still worked out well enough.

It’s still pretty warm here (SoCal), so I’ve been keeping it light. I’ve been wearing NARS Pure Radience in St. Moritz (my neck is still pretty tan, and the formula is actually *quite* forgiving) that I picked up last week as a VIB Perk at Sephora, with tarte Adventurous blush. I’ve also been wearing random glosses that came with the set, and although they’re not very pigmented, the wear-time is amazing. I figure when it gets cooler, and I start wearing deeper lip shades, these will work well over them, so they aren’t completely useless.

Decided to use my UD 15th Anniversary Palette (I really have to start getting more use of a lot of my eye shadow products!). I used Sin Primer Potion and over that, I put Midnight 15 on the inner half of the lid, Chase on the outer half of the lid and Deeper in the Crease. It was a nice neutral eye with a bit of “oomph”. I liked with Gosh black pencil liner. I wore MAC Dame on my cheeks and Clarins Raspberry Gloss Prodige on my lips.

  4. I love this look on you! The inner lid shade of pink is pretty.

I did a purple look too. I did a cat eye for a Hallowen party.

UD primer, Nars Alhambra (champagne shade), UD Rockstar, MUFE Aaua Creamliner for cat eye (#1), Benefit High Brow Glow under brow, Benefit Brow Zing in dark for brows, L’oreal Million Lashes in Blackest Black and Voluminous in Carbon black. I also curled my lashes with Kevyn Aucion’s Curler.

Checks: Smashbox Gingersnap blush, Bobbi Brown Matte Bronzer in Deep for contour.

    Lips: Bobbi Brown Raisin

Face: MUFE primer and HD foundation, Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Bronze for highlighter, Coty Airpsun Powder.

I loved the makeup I wore to a Halloween party over the weekend. Inspired by missglamorazzi’s supercute panda tutorial…made a round shape on my eye with black, then a black nose and nude lips. (And a panda spirit hood, of course!) Not too hard but I got lots of compliments.

  7. I love these shades on you! Personally, I think that pink shadows get a bad rap- they can work really well in a lot of cases!

I really love this look on you, Christine. Thanks for the inspiration! I never think to put a color on the inner corner, but it works so well here.
