This was my favorite look you did this week too. My favorite look was actually an 80′s inspired look I did, I chopped off all of my hair and I dunno it just really reminds me of the 80′s so I decided some of my neglected colorful eyeshadows.

    Eyes

I used Elf Eyeshadow Primer (that stuff works and it’s only a dollar!)
Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Lavendar on lid.
Sugar Pill Posion Plum on lid,
Sugar Pill Love+ in the outer corner blended in with posion plum. I had to use a very pointed pencil brush from makeupgeek to make sure it didn’t get all over.
Then I used the pink and purple mineralize duo from the mac Disney Villians collection, (just the purple side on the lid)
No Liner on the top, but I put Urban Decay zero on the waterline and man did that last!
My go to mascara is Rimmel Sexy Curves

    Face
Mac Prolong Wear foundation in NC25 mixed with a mark primer I forgot what it is called but it is quickly becoming a fave of mine for that glowy foundation look. Really pumped up the prolongwear because I felt the prolongwear can look flat in comparison to my precious Nars Sheer Glow.

Brows: A drugstore go to brow powder mixed with Mac Copperplate to give it an ashy tone because I dyed my hair super black.

On my cheeks I just wore my go to everyday blush in exposed, but I amped it up a bit so my cheekbones looked a lot more contoured than normal.

Lips: I just put on my Nyx lip pencil in hot red and my Nars pure matte lipstick in Mascate…

Can you believe I went out in public like that…? and I was out doing errands and I saw my boss and she was like woah. LOL. I usually only wear neutral browns to work everyday… I don’t even normally wear red lips so it was very out of my norm, but it was really fun I felt quite glamorous.

I tried Chanel Rouge blush with M.A.C Beauty lipstick ( yesterday ), again I put Weathered pro long wear eyeshadow ( the only pro longwear eyeshadow I own ) and also Nars High Society trio with Benefit mascara in black. I tried Glamour Daze lipstick, gorgeous shade ! On my toes I am currently wearing Casino Royale from the OPI James Bond collection and – at last – Deborah Lippmann Mermaid’s Dream on my fingers ( beautiful !! ) and I will try Across the Universe soon !

  3. That’s a very good look indeed :-) No favorite look for me… I had ptosis surgery on Friday, so I couldn’t and can’t wear make-up anymore for a while. And that is really really really hard for a make-up lover like me :-( Then again, my eye is so badly bruised that it kinda looks like I have black/blueish & red eyeshadow on :-p Just applied by a five year old. With a knife. I’m laughing right now, but it was pretty invasive surgery though. But hey, better to mock yourself than to cry about it, right? :-)

I loved that look you wore, too! If only we Australians could get those shades!

  5. I went to a party last night (I am kind of proud of myself. I never go to parties when the school semester is in effect) and here is what I wore:

Eyes: MAC Groundwork PP (eye base), Revlon Matte e/s in Aubergine (all over lid and blended at the edges), Sally Girl Mini e/s in Mauve (browbone), Wet n Wild Creme Liner in Black (upper lashline), Essence All Eyes on Me mascara (top lashes).

Cheeks: NYX Powder blush in Mocha (such a beautiful product! It’s been sitting my my blush drawer for ages. Shame on me for not trying it sooner).

Lips: Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie.

My birthday look with some of the makeup I got that morning!

Face: Lancome Makeup Primer, MUFE HD Foundation, Estee Lauder Soft Matte Bronzer, Clinique All About Eyes Concealer and Benefit’s the Porefessional under eyes and on nose.

Cheeks: Tarina Tarantino Neopolitan Lane Dollskin Cheek Blush, The Body Shop Brush on Radiance as highlighter.

Eyes: UD Primer Potion, Tarina Tarantino Dreamy Jewel Eyeshadow Palette (I copied the look posted here) using just a little more of the coppery color. Prescriptives Lash Envy Volumizing mascara.

Lips: Something by Mac that was really just shimmery without adding much color (can’t remember now).

  7. Love it! I do have a favourite look this, it’s kind of a brown smokey eye but mostly the brown in de crease. And lots of mascara ;)

  8. That is a gorgeous look for you. It’s a nice autumn-tinged, slightly smoky colour palette.

My favourite look this week, was one where I tried out wearing a nude lip- something I rarely do, because I find that it so often goes wrong. I used Mac’s Creme d’Nude with In Synch liner underneath and paired that with the Pink Power mineralize bronzer/ blush/ highlighter trio from the Wonder Woman collection (for some reason, the cheek products from that collection were the only things I really liked) and a neutral eye with a bright pop of teal in the corner, courtesy of Mac Partylicious pigment. I used that with Rouge Bunny Rouge shadows in Angelic Cockatiels and Periwinkle Cardinal, Chanel’s Complice eye shadow and Marcelle Champagne Bubble as a neutral highlighter. Details and photos here: http://morelikespace.blogspot.ca/2012/10/making-faces-scary-stuff-part-two.html

I’m still not sure a nude lip is something I could pull off regularly, but this worked better than some of my past attempts.

  9. Its very simple but I loved it, I used my select NC35 and studio sculpt NW25, on the eyes MAC Outrè on the crease, love cycle the light blue on the inner corner of the eye and the dark blue as eyeliner on the lower lash liner, and fluidline blacktrack on the upper lash line.
I used Natura’s una extra volume black mascara and Vult’s face powder nº1 on the cheeks.
I’m a complete ammateur, but I think it went very well!

My favorite look this week is kind of my go to everyday look.
Eyes: UD Juju all over the lid; UD Suspect over Juju; UD Darkhorse in the crease and outer corner; UD Virgin in the inner corner and brow bone; Revlon Colorstay liquid liner in Black; Benefit They’re Real mascara.
Face: Naked Skin foundation in 4.0; MAC Prolongwear concealer in NW25 (for under the eyes); Benefit Hervana blush; MAC Espresso for the brows.
Lips: Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment; UD Requiem Lipstick.

Damn, you’re making me want that cinderella palette baaad. Wish I had the money for it.

This week I really loved the look I did with my Rimmel Precious Jewels palette. Can’t believe it was only 4 bucks- such gorgeous, pigmented colors. Comparable to the Urban Decay Black palette, I think- it’s got a sparkly black, blackened purple, blackened green, and blackened blue.

I applied the blackened green in the center of the lid, blackened blue on the outer and inner thirds of the lid, blackened purple in the crease, and sparkly black slightly in the outer v and under the eye. Black liner on the upper lashline and inner rims, tiny bit of UD Virgin as highlight/inner corner, and lotss of mascara. Paired it with a nude lip- NYX Pumpkin Pie with some clear gloss on top.

My favorite this week was a red smokey eye. I filmed it for a last minute Katniss costume makeup and ended up wearing it to a few parties. Lol just some reds, oranges, and a red-brown from my 120 palette, UD blackout to deepen the crease, and lots of eyeliner and mascara.

Today, my MIL was holding the annual tea for a charity she started. I wore MAC Dazzlelight all over the lid (haven’t worn it in ages and it’s a fave – I should use it more often). Smudged close to my lash line and on the outer half of my lid and into the crease I used MAC Centre Stage, which I also smudged under my lower lashes. I lined with Gosh Truly Brown pencil. Frankly Scarlet on my cheeks, Capricious on my lips and I tried a sample of MAC Face and Body in N1 (I think). I’m on the fence about that foundation – not sure if I like it or not.

My look this week has been very subdued and minimal because I have been visiting and taking care of my dad in the hospital. I put on Boots No. 7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum. Cetaphil Moisturizer afterwards. Since I grab my Cetaphil jar and toss it in my bag to take it to the hospital to rub on his limbs and body because his skin gets really really dry, it really helps the dryness and itchiness and the nurses said it was okay. And he likes getting a massage with it.

Then I put on my SkinFood BB Cream and set it with my Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural powder. Then the powder gets toss into my to go makeup bag with tweezers, nail file, and cuticle scissors (for grooming my dad).

For my eyes, I put on MAC paint pot in Soft Orchre on my lids. I used my loreal lacquer gel liner to tightline my eyes. I line my eyeline with the gel liner and set it with Urban Decay’s Gunmetal and smudge out the lines a bit. Curl my lashes and put on two coats of Maybelline Falsies mascara.

I didn’t use a blush, bronzer, or highlighter. I put on NYX’s lipgloss in Nude Peach and also toss that into my makeup bag.

It was very basic and natural looking. Very quick and easy and under five minutes!

  15. My favourite look this week was UD’s Shattered on the inner half of the eye, Smog on the outer half, and Darkhorse smudged on the lower lashline and in the outer crease. Really cute, colourful but not too much, and Shattered + Smog give a gorgeous duochrome appearance when blended together!

  16. So pretty! Love this look!

  17. wow gorgeous! :) I love it!
