This week I tried Chanel Malice and Tumulte Blushes. I also put Rosy Outlook and Hervana. On my lips : Chanel Rouge coco in Caractère, Guerlain Rouge automatique in Jardins de Bagatelle, on my eyelids : Kiko sumptuous Mocha ( quad ), YSL Holiday palette Nuit Arctique. Mascara : Benefit They’re Real. On my toes ( feet ) I am currently wearing Carine Roitfeld Underfire red, which I really love !

I pulled out an old favourite – MAC Illusionary/Burning Ambition duo – to wear on my birthday. Well, I wore the dark side smudged close to my lashes and in the outer crease and lid, with Sweet Satisfaction on the rest of the lid. I wiggled a bit of MAC Birds&Berries under my lower lashes as a liner. For a change, I actually wore mascara! Tarte Natural Beauty blush and Guerlain L’Heure Bleu on my lips.

  3. There have been some similar palettes around recently, and you wear all of them so well!

This week my favorite look is the Elie Saab 2013 spring/summer ready-to-wear runway-inspired one. I used Guerlain Parure de Lumiere and Diorskin Nude Shimmer to create dewy skin, lined my eyes thicker than I normally would before blending the outer corners/edge of the line with a mixture of Urban Decay Blackout and Snakeskin. I dabbed Le Metier de Beaute Tenne Creme Fresh Tint on my cheeks and lips, and contoured with MAC Harmony. There’s something very edgy about this look but at the same time I love how wearable it is!

I think this may be mmy go to look for the fall

  5. My favorite look this week was a Festive look – Turquoise/Bronze eyes paired with a glossy brick lip. Used mostly drugstore products for the eyes. For the base, I used Clinique Anti-Blemish solutions foundation after a long time – it gives great coverage and photographs really well! Can’t remember why I ever stopped using it!

  6. I wasn’t too crazy with the makeup this week:

Eyes: MAC Indianwood PP, ELF Wild Wheat e/s (lid), Sephora Mat No. 3 e/s (outer v), Milani Easyliner for Eyes in Espresso, black mascara.

Cheeks: Milani Baked Blush in Berry Amore (love this, but I do wish it were less shimmery).

    Lips: NARS Fire Down Below.

  7. I caved and ordered this as my very first kaleidoscope this week :-) Overall, it’s been exceptionally dry this week and I’ve had a bit of a cold, which has meant that this has been a week of looks I’d rather forget.

The kaleidoscope looks beautiful on you and I can only hope it works nearly that well on me!

Unfortunatley I don’t think I’ll be able to upload any pictures of my favourite look this week, but I just have to share it anyway! I just got home from a stage make up-course that I was able to participate in today thanks to my theater group. We were told to bring a make up look we wanted to recreate in the end of the day, and I brought the Black Swan-look from the Black Swan movie. It was so much fun to create and som much fun to wear. Especially to the supermarket afterwards – accompanied by the Mad Hatter and Corpse Bride.

  12. My favorite look this week was a neutral face (mac perfect cheek blush, wet n wild sparkle til morning eyeshadow palette) with vampy lips – the best part of the vampy lips is that they were a 99 cent WnW lipstick – black orchid. I have photos here if you want to see:

It’s really one of my favorite looks in a long time.

I want that lipstick! I actually just spent the day purging my lipstick stash, and I had to get rid of several that have turned, and most were vampy shades. WnW does have some nice lipsticks, though.
