  1. I tried out three shades from a Sigma palette. Firs time I tried Sigma make-up, but I instantly fell in love! The look I did was with a shimmery gold, a soft burgundy purple and a cream beige.

Ooh I love those colors on you! This week I did mostly simple looks…my favorite was based off a look Carmindy did on What Not To Wear. Way less makeup and more highlighter than I’m used to, but I got a lot of compliments. (on how I looked, not the usual ‘i love your makeup’ haha. definitely different.)Eyes- a touch of theBalm Mary Lou-manizer on the lid for a little shimmer, subtle bit of UD Naked to define the crease, more Mary Lou-manizer under the browbone and on the inner corner. Navy blue liner (the maybelline gel one) on the upper lashline, 2 coats of mascara, UD naked on brows.Lips- Maybelline Mauvilous lipstick (the perfect MLBB) with a little jack black lip balm on top.Face- Skin79 Super Gold VIP Plus bb cream, Kat Von D tattoo concealer, maybelline translucent powder, theBalm Down Boy blush, Mary Lou-manizer on the tops of the cheekbones, down the nose, cupid’s bow.

  3. My favorite look was a very simple one. I used a Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow for a very sheer wash of color and glitter and combined it with a pink lip. http://www.emmawessels.nl/looks/natural-everyday-look/

This week Swimming Pool eye palette from Dior and Supernova from M.A.C. I purchased the Eau aux 3 fleurs blanches and immediately tried it ( moisturizing eau de soin by Liérac ), very nice ! I tried a nail care from Revlon ( post trauma care ) it’s like an invisible nail polish I just like it. On the lips I wore Vendanges from NARS all week. On my nails ( feet ) Lara from Zoya great colour. Perfumes : See or be seen Sasha from Benefit and Insolence from Guerlain, Lys Blanc from Durance too. As body care 3 flowers body oil and Huile Divine from Caudalie. On the hair Ojon serum and L’Oréal oil which is quite good.

  5. I always see you wearing those Tarina Tarantino eyeliners, so now I really really want to try them despite being a loyal MUFE Aqua Eyes user! :P

I used my Naked 1 palette for the first time in a while.  Half-Baked on the lid with Darkhorse (I LOVE Darkhorse) in the outer V and smudged into my lash line, like liner.  I used MAC Orb to blend out toward the brow bone. Laugh a Lot on my lips and Pinch o Peach on my cheeks.

  7. Wow, your looks is so summery and gorgeous, Christine!  Really soft lovely colours, but they still seem to have wonderful depth..which so often goes missing in mid to light eyeshadows.  I wish my eye ‘canvas’ was as smooth as yours *grin*I’ve done a number of looks this week and my favs feature berry shades from recent purchases.  If anyone is interested, they can be found on my Flickr under Wwendalynne, not surprisingly.  My favourite products I worked with this week were Giorgio Armani ETK #24,  Tom Ford Cheek Colour in Wicked, Tom Ford Lip Colour in Casablanca.  All of these are a pleasure and superb outstanding products thanks to Temptalia!  It makes me sooo happy :)

My favorite look was from yesterday :)I wore UD primer potion and Nyx jumbo eye pencil, with the lighter mint green from nars cleo in my inner corner half of my lid, the mint green from NARS habanera on the outer, the darker color fromCleo in the crease blended out with the darker brown in NARS belissima, and the lighter shade for a highlight. Black winged out eyeliner blacktrack from Mac, and the mascara I used was guerlain noir g. NARS orgasm mixed with gaiety on the cheeks, with guerlain cruel gardenia for a highlight. I wore Mac snob on the lips.I loved this look!

  9. Those colours are really lovely on you! I think my favourite look of the week is actually the one I’m wearing today, possibly because it’s so simple. I put Mac’s Vanilla all over my lids, up to the brow, used the Vintage Selection paint pot on my moveable lid and a good coat of Givenchy mascara. Paired that with Nars Outlaw on my cheeks and Hourglass Raven (lined with Mac Redd pencil) on my lips. And yes, I keep trying to compare Raven to your swatches of Guerlain Genna…

I like the matte/semi-matte look of your eyeshadow here.  Very subtlte and pretty! Eyes:  L’Oreal Infallible in Liquid Diamond, Infinite Sky, and Midnight Blue in a gradient across the eye, swept into the crease with theBalm’s Matt Horowitz in the crease and Matt Smith on the brow, UD Creep on the lower lash line.Cheeks:  Maybelline cream mousse in Plum, Revlon Age-Defying Illuminator on highlight points.Lips:  MAC Innocence, Beware!

I really like the look you did with the Too Faced palette, Christine. It’s quite a bit more subtle than I thought it would be, but I never bothered to swatch it. I probably will, now that I’ve seen it applied. I’m moving this upcoming weekend, so it was pretty much a no-makeup week for me, due to the fact I’ve more or less stayed home, packing, in addition to my makeup being packed away. I did manage to pick up my Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment minis from Sephora this week, and I have to say, I think I may have found my HG lip balm. I actually had to only apply it 3X today, which is a huge difference from the 10+ times a day I’ve had to apply *any* lip balm. So, pretty much all I’ve worn this week was Aveeno TM, BE powder foundation, mascara & eyebrows, and Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment. It’s actually pretty liberating to not wear makeup, sometimes.

If you like the lipbalms that you get for the birthday present (original and rosé) then you should try the advanced therapy for at night, it’s essentially a night lip balm, or that’s how I used it.

Awesome! Thanks for the tip. I’m using Korres Lip Butters ATM, since they have no SPF, but they absorb rather quickly.

  14. Christine, does this mean a Summer Eye palette review is in the works? :DMy best look was one I created based on Noomi Rapace’s GwtDT look (I did it for a tutorial on my YouTube). I used the Urban Decay Smoked palette: Mushroom on the lid, Asphalt in the crease, outer corner and along the lower lashline, Perversion liner smudged with Blackout shadow up the upper lash line (and a little of the bottom corner), and Perversion in the waterline. It was a lot softer than it sounds, and looked much better on me than I expected, LOL!BTW, Christine, the reason I bought Smoked was that it had several of the colors you put together for your custom palette when you went to UD. I had been planning to buy them separately, but kept making other purchases and putting it off… then along came this, and I was so excited! They should take your advice more often – it’s a great set of colors!
