  1. I did a fairly simple eye earlier in the week that somehow turned out just perfect; I used the UD Naked palette – Smog on the lid and Darkhorse in the crease.  I used the MAC Chromagraphic NC15/NW20 on my waterline, and Prestige Total Intensity Pencil in Fierce Blue on my lower lash line

This week I wore makeup just once, for a dinner I went out with my mother! Yeah, I was too lazy. Even when I wore it, it was just something simple.
Face: Mac Studio fix powder and Tarte blissful blush.
Eyes: UDPP, UD Naked 2 bootycall (on the lid), foxy (highlight), suspect (outter v) and tease (to blend out); maybeline great lashees.
    Lips: Mac hug me.

So beautiful.  I am impressed. This week I didn’t wear something interesting, only eyeliner and different lipsticks.

My look happened because my best friend told me to do something bright!
My face: clarins everlasting foundation, Mac msf, mac well dressed, Mac snow globe
My eyes: MUFE shadow no9 on the lid, Mac Indian ink in the crease, Mac stars n rockets to blend out the crease, Mac crystal avalanche as a highlight, Mac carbon in my outer v, Mac feline on top lash line, urban decay electric eyeliner bottom lash with stars n rockets over top! Mascara was clarins
Lips: pink popcorn lipstick with cinestyle overtop!

  5. Gosh, this looks amazing on you! Love the combination of the colours you used and the placement of es! Can’t wait to read the review!

this is probably my favorite makeup look! you look amazing!

I’m in love with that look. Simply exquisite.  I wasn’t very exciting this week; the only time I really bothered, I wore: MUFE foundation in 127, UD’s 24/7 shadow stick in Clash (turquoise-y) blended with some YSL imperial blue matte shadow (it’s an old Rive Gauche palette, no clue what the name is) over the outer 1/2 of the lid, a faintly shimmery white, sheer YSL shadow in the tear duct corners and on the brow bone, YSL dark navy black eyeshadow in the outer creases and corner, UD Perversion eyeliner on the upper/lower eyeline.  A very faint smattering of Chanel blush in Plum Haze and some ultra pale pink matte YSL lipstick (whose # has rubbed off on the bottom).  I find it takes a lot of work to counter the sometimes blinding intensity of those brighter UD shadow sticks but I’m quite infatuated with them.

  8. This looks lovely! I have to say that I’ve been totally distracted from your Mac reviews by the lovely looks you’ve been doing on your eyes- both this one and the Armani one. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the products themselves.

For my part, I actually like the look I have on today: LMdB Chameleon and Benefit Skinny Jeans on the inside and outside of my lids respectively and Mac’s Call Me Bubbles as a highlighter, with On the Hunt liquid liner on my upper lash line and Guerlain Kohl on my water line. I paired that with Mac’s Breezy blush and a very light, pinkish bronzer from the Body Shop (“Radiant Glow”) and Mac Musky Amethyst on the lips.

Wow what a gorgeous look! My favorite was a purple smoky eye I did yesterday…even though my guy friend said I looked like a slutty grape lmao.
Eyes- udpp, mac brule as a wash, ud naked as crease blending color. Sugarpill poison plum on the lid and blended out into the crease. Black liner, Sugarpill Bulletproof to set/blend that out and some more in the outer crease. Little bit of Poison plum under the eyes, inner rims lined with black. Sugarpill Tako for highlight/inner corner. Ardell demi-wispies.
Lips- lime crime coquette (i hate the company now but i hate throwing away makeup even more), nyx sugar pie gloss on top. (basically just super pale nude).
Face- too faced primed and poreless, mufe hd in 117, maybelline dream matte powder (shockingly good), benefit hoola to contour, nyx peach blush, theBalm mary lou-manizer to highlight.

I wore MAC Steamy this past week for the first time in quite a while. I had a bad cold and wanted something to counteract/detract from my red, watery eyes (and I’d taken the day off work in any case, so figured I could go wild at home!).  I packed Steamy on my lids and put a very light application of Copperplate in the crease and I used Benefit’s High Brow under my brows to make my eyes look a bit brighter and more wide awake. Clarins Magic Colour Instant Blush (LE from 2 years ago) because I needed something to make me look a bit brighter and lip balm on my lips (and some EA 8 Hour Cream on the tip of my poor, chapped nose!)

Meant to add, Christine, that I love that look on your eyes.  You single-handedly turned me on to Tarina Tarantino. I hope you’ll add that look to the “Looks” section, if you haven’t already.

    •  @Mariella So happy you like TT! I am in LOVE with the brand right now, and the new palette for summer is so great (quality-wise; the packaging is far too large for what it is).

  12. Marina

Such a BEAUTIFUL look Christine! I really wish you still did tutorials because I’d love to know how you did this. When will the review for this palette go up? Looking forward to it. It’s also a bit of a coincidence because the school play was Friday and it was the Wizard of Oz! Also you seem to wear that Spark of Envy eyeliner a lot – would you say it’s one of your favorites?
I wasn’t a huge fan of any looks of mine this week. :(

  13. Ooh, my favorite look this week was a lime green and plum eye using Sleek MakeUp!

Would you say her palettes are good for travel?

Right now wearing all UD Naked 2. Foxy as a brow highlight with Tease in the crease with a little Blackout in the outer V/crease area with Busted over top Blackout on the outer corner blended into YDK then Verve on the inner corner highlight and lower lashline. Illamasqua Vow on the waterline and L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes to finish it off. Am being too lazy to line the upper lashline, lol. Nothing on face/lips, yet.

My favorite look though was a peachy/copper/bronze eye I did at the beginning of the week. I used MAC Orb as the brow highlight with UD Booty Call as the inner corner highlight then put MAC Soft Brown in the crease and blended on the orbital bone area then worked MAC Saddle into the very outer portion of the socket to deepen the contour. I foiled UD Chopper onto the lid then added some UD Snake Bite on the outer portion. Same waterline liner and mascara as today’s look, but added a darker bronzed brown liner between the lower lashes. Had on NARS Sheer Glow with Laguna Bronzer and NARS Honolulu Honey on the lips with a darker peach gloss.

Gorgeous look, Christine. Gonna have to check out the TT shadows.

  16. Veronica

*siiiiiigh*  I think I’m going to have to give in and finally get the Spark of Envy liner.  I’ve been trying to avoid it, but you wear it too often and too beautifully to avoid the temptation.  I basically converted a friend to TT’s brand thanks to those hyperliners.

The only day I bothered with more than the basics was Friday, when I wore the NARS Misfit duo with the lighter shade on the lid blending into the green color at the corner and crease.  UD Virgin dusted very lightly on the brow.  NARS blush in Angelika on the cheeks.  Revlon Colorburst Lipbutter in Strawberry Shortcake on lips.

I love the eyes, it looks kind of Ancient Egyptian. My makeup has been very boring this week- I recently found (excavated?) a lipstick I loved as a kid, it looks kind of like a shimmer version of MAC Cyber- so maybe boring is an improvement for me…

  18. Jennifer

First off, this is my absolute favorite eye look you’ve done; I love the combo of bluish teal and gold!

Then, my favorite look this week was what I wore for prom. Too Faced’s Erotica eye shadow on the outer V with the blue from WnW’s Blue Had Me at Hello palette on the center lid, and Lancome’s Gaze eye shadow to highlight. Then finished off with Rimmel’s black waterproof eyeliner to tightline and MUFE;s smokey lash mascara.

  19. Andrea

Nails – Illamasqua Muse with an accent nail in Deborah Lippmann Mermaid’s Dream. The DL is one of the most beautiful polishes I’ve ever seen!

  20. InkedAngel78

    Powder: Chanel Poudre Libre Universel
E/S: MAC All That Glitters over Too Faced Shadow Insurance
