  1. My favorite look this week was MUFE HD foundation, Anastasia Brow duo in Brunette, Urban Decay eyeshadow in Toasted (as a wash), Maybelline One by One mascara, MAC Flower Fantasy Pearlmatte as blush & highligher, and MAC Viva Glam Cyndi lipstick. It turned out really soft and pretty!

I have a picture of it in my recent post, here:

  2. Mariella

I decided to do a smokey daytime eye using the generous sample of MAC’s Nebula pigment I got a few weeks ago. I applied it heavier near the lashes and softened it toward the crease, blending out with MAC Omega at the crease and then I used Shroom to highlight. It looked nice and not too much for work/daytime. I wore Dollymix on my cheeks and Plumful on my lips.

  3. Eyes: NYX Earthy Shimmer on inner lid, MAC Dalliance on center lid, L’Oreal Golden Sage Infallible Eyeshadow on outer lid. Physician’s Formula 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner on upper lash line, Urban Decay Mildew on lower lash line.

Lips: Physicians Formula I Heart Rose topped with Stila Golden Charm 24kt shimmer gloss

Cheeks: MAC Oh So Fair Beauty Powder

  4. Amanda

My favorite look this week is the one I am currently wearing!

Face: MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation in NC 25., MAC Bronzer in Golden
Cheeks: Too Faced Pink Leopard (Very Lightly for highlighting)
Lips: Urban Decay Lip Junkie: NAKED
Eyes: MAC Nubile Paint Pot as base. On Lid – Laundry Daze blending into Matting Call, Desert Cloud in outer > and inner crease. UD Virgin used as Highlight. Waterline: Stila Smudge stick in Tetra (Purple). Lined lid with Aqua Liner Stay Put Liner in 6L (Blackened Purple). Mascara is Tarte Lights, Camera, Action.

    My favorite look this week:
Face- Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, Laura Mercier Secret Camoflauge, MAC Blot Powder
Cheeks- MAC Posey Cremeblend Blush, NYX Nutmeg to contour, Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips in Miami to Highlight
Eye- MAC Soft Ochre, Neurtogena Eye Duo in Iced Coffee, MAC Naked Lunch in center of eye lid, MAC Dazzle Lights to highlight inner corner, MAC Twinks to define outer corner and smudged into lower lashline, Revlon Color Stay Liquid Liner in Blackest Black
Lips- MAC Beet liner and Girl About town Lipstick.

  6. Gina

Oooh that is such a lovely, soft pink! Have you done a review of that shade?

My favorite look of the week was very MAC centered:

Eyes: MAC Full of Flavour on the lid, with Brash in the crease, and Burberry Trench to highlight.

Cheeks: MAC Style on cheeks, with Korres Monoi Oil bronzer to contour.

    Lips: MAC Love Nectar Lustreglass.

  7. Amy

Face: A teeny bit of Graftobian HD Crème in Porcelain for my dark circles. No foundation or blush. Just let my naturally pinched-rosey cheeks shine
Eyes: A sparkly sheer but bright baby pink shade from Laneige’s Spring 2011 collection palette patted on the lid to a bit above the crease with little to no blending. The mid-tone mint shade from Lancôme’s Vert Tendresse lining my lower lash line. To brighten up, I used the brightened sheer sparkly green apple shade from the same Laneige palette and brushed it on my inner corners and 1/3 of lower lash line. Then to add more shine, I dabbed a bit of the sparkly white in Vert Tendresse on my inner corners. Lined my waterline with MAC’s Cyan chroma line and tight lined with a black gel liner and softly applied a bit of black shadow right on my lower lash line.
Lips: Lancôme’s Cotton Candy/Soft Marshmallow lipstick

This looks reminded me of a strawberry! :3

  8. You look VERY good with minimal makeup, and I love those owl earrings!

I tried out a new combination this week that I actively disliked lol. I used MAC Shale on lids, the definer shade of the right column of Wet n’ Wild Comfort Zone to contour, and the browbone shade to highlight. Not only did the colors not work together, but the look actually managed to darken instead of brightening my face up. Definitely won’t try this one again!

Another look I did this week was my old standby with the Naked Palette with Half Baked on my lids, Smog to contour, and Darkhorse on my lower lash line. This one’s pretty foolproof, except for I’m getting a little too pale to wear Half Baked well at the moment.

If anyone’s interested in taking a look (and finding out for themselves why they shouldn’t wear Shale like that lol), here is the link to my blog entry:

    • Kristanna

If you are going to use shale like that I really recommend using a very metallic white/peachypink highlighter for the inner 3rd. If u go golden it makes it look dark. But I agree shale needs help like that.

      • Thanks Kristanna! I will keep that in mind and maybe give it another go. I love Shale on its own, but I can never seem to pair it up with anything else right! It’s frustrating.

  9. Kristabelle

My favorite look this week was with the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk. The color kinda scared me at first (anything reddish tends to look gross on my super pale skin) but now I’m in love with it.

Eyes- UDPP, Mac brule as a base (the color tattoos seems to work better over powder for me).
Pomegranate Punk on lid and faded out into the crease. Little bit of it worked under the lower lashline. Satin Taupe in the outer V and blended into the crease. Black liner on the upper lashline and inner rims, set with UD Blackout, little bit of that worked into the outer corner of the crease. UD Darkhorse blended over the black liner, into the outer corner/crease, and a tiny bit below the eye. MAC Brule mixed with a little UD Vanilla as highlight/inner corner.
(+ mascara and brows of course)

Face- MUFE Mat Velvet +, Kat Von D Tattoo concealer, Benefit Hoola to contour, nude VS blush, UD Sin to highlight.

Lips- Revlon lip butter in Peach Parfair.

  10. Natalie

My favorite look this week was..

Face: Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation, Bobbi Brown Corrector and Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer for eyes, Mac Select Moisturecover on blemishes, Clinique Almost Powder

Cheeks: Benefit Hoola, Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush in Pink Frosting, Benefit Bella Bamba, Mac Lustre Drops in Pink Rebel

Eyes: UDPP in Eden, Mac Paint Pot in Rubenesque, Stila In The Light Palette (Bliss all over the lid, Sunset in the crease, Gilded Gold in the outer V, Bare under the brow bone, Kitten in the outer corner, Night Sky smudged under the lash line) Estee Lauder Double Wear Liquid Eyeliner in Black, Maybelline Falsies Mascara, Make Up Forever Smokey Lash, Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara, Mac Brow Pencil in Strut, Anastasia Brow Gel

Lips: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Naked, Smashbox Photo Finish Lipstick in Charming, Make Up Forever Lab Shine Lip Gloss in S2, Buxom Big and Healthy Lip Gloss in Sandy

  11. baby in a corner

Pretty – I wish lighter lipsticks looked nice on me but they usually clash with the mauve in my lips!

Please review TF wicked – I have it and am undecided but would love to hear your views!

  12. I’ve been playing around with my new Shop/ Cook goodies, particularly the quads. My favourite look so far was one I did with the Call Me Bubbles quad. I used all four colours, plus I added Notoriety to the outer “V” to deepen it a bit. To finish the eyes, I used Mac’s “On the Hunt” liquid liner and Guerlaim Khol with Chanel Inimitable Intense mascara.

Then on the cheeks, I used Benefit Bella Bamba and used Chanel Rouge Coco in Cambon on my lips.

It’s a bright look, but I liked it. There are a couple of pictures here:

I used e.l.f. Butternut Brightening Eye Color quad in my favorite look this week and it really surprised me. It was soft as butter, blended so easily and lasted all day over my Too Faced primer w/o creasing or fading. It’s so inexpensive! I mixed the shimmery champagne and peachy colors and applied it all over my lid, then applied the medium brown in my crease. I also used UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Whiskey and Benefit High Brow and Bad Gal Brown mascara. On my cheeks, I used Tarina Tarantino Dollskin Cheek in Neapolitan Lane and on my lips, Benefit Lady’s Choice lipstick.

  16. My favorite look this week was icy cool eyes.

I applied a discontinued Dior cream shadow in a shimmery white all over lids, and lined my upper lash line with MAC Super Slick Liquid liner in… I forgot the name, may be Nocturnal, anyways, the silver one.

And red lips… I used Rimmel Kate #1.

  17. Mel

Lips: MAC lipstick in Innocence, Beware!

  19. Sally

I’m loving my new Garden Pastels palette from Dior with the blue on my upper lid and the green blended into the crease with a little olive from my Nouveau Monde duo from NARS. Essence’s XXXL Shine Gloss in Nude Kiss on the lips and soft coral cheeks. Great for spring!

  20. chelsea

That lip color works for you! I like the fact that it still could be considered nude, but contains a subterranean yet opaque color.

  21. Sunzelle

First off, I love the lip colour, it’s so Spring! I was wondering if you do anything to prime your lips before using colour, and gloss? My lips are pretty pigmented so it never turns out like I want it to. Do you recommend any lip primers?

  22. Miss J

Face: MAC NC15 Studio Finish Concealer & MAC Light Medium (Light+, now, I believe.) MSFN.

Cheeks: MAC Sculpt Sculpting Powder, MAC Accentuate Shaping Powder, and NARS Gilda Blush.

    Eyes: Just some L’Oreal Telescopic.

Lips: MAC Watch Me Simmer Lippie! SOOO gorgeous. Came from UPS today, and did a look with it as soon as I opened the package. :) All to go grocery shopping, haha.

  23. My favorite look (I actually did a Valentine’s Day tutorial video for the eye part, but not sure I should link to it here): UD’s Toasted on my lids, warmed with a layer of Rust by NYX, with Hustle in the crease and Creep in the outer V, Smashbox’s Limitless Eyeliner in Onyx on the rims and Sephora’s waterproof cream liner in black above the upper lashes, winged out. Cover Girl Lashblast fusion for mascara. Maybelline Dream Bouncy in Rose Petal on the cheeks with a NYX powder blush over it, TheBalm’s Mary-Lou Manizer for highlight and Too Faced Chocolate Soleil for contouring. Oh, and Smashbox Brow Tech for the brows – I’m really liking that one.

  24. Jessica
