What we're Wearing

What We’re Wearing, Vol. 041

I really loved the way this look came together, which I posted yesterday. I used Tarina Tarantino’s Dreamy Eyeshadow Palette–lots of warm golds and bronzes–and it’s just the kind of colors I gravitate towards.

What was your favorite look you wore this week?

  1. Urban Decay Uzi (lid), MAC Plumage and UD Goddess (outer v), MAC Blooz liner (upper lashline) and black mascara. MAC Spice It Up! on the lips, dabbed lightly.

  2. basically the Dior Rosy Tan palette! w/ Chanel “Boy” on the lips

  3. Edward Bess, except for foundation, setting powder of Giorgio Armani and Dior Iconic mascara.

I’ve been on a kick where I’m trying to use the same rotation of products for the month as to actually use the make up in my collection… Lately my go to look has been Clinique duo in Beach Plum- gold shade all over lid, plum in crease, with Clinique Black Plum liner on lower lash line smudged with Buxom’s Schnauzer cream shadow… MAC’s Pinch me on cheeks and Revlon’s Rose nude for lips… Fun neutral with a little pop of color!

  5. Justine

MAC Parfait Amour on the lid, Urban Decay Ransom on the lower lash line, Urban Decay 24/7 liquid liner in El Dorado along the lash line, nothing on the lips.

My Sephora F&F order just came today, so I’m trying the products that I ordered.

-NARS Island Fever duo — I was disappointed when I swatched it because the colors were so sheer. I loved when I applied them on my eyes though… I get a soft smokey eye when I build the color up.
    -UD 24/7 liner in Radium

-Benefit Bella Bamba — disappointing. Even when I loaded my 168 brush, the color didn’t show up on my cheek.
-Benefit Girl Meets Pearl to highlight.

Sephora clear lipgloss — super sticky!
    Mixed with Shiro Cosmetics Clefairy

  7. I wore my signature super bright look using the BYS Neon Palette. Yellow in the inner corner, orange over the middle of the lid, hot pink in the outer v, blended into the crease. I really wish this palette was available in America :(

tons of pics; its my favorite look, can you tell? :3

I’m in love with the look I wore for on date last night! MAC Satin Taupe all over the lid, heavier on the outside and feathery toward the inner corner. MAC Quarry in the outer crease, blended out with Sephora Peach Beige toward the browbone. I smudged some dark brown lighter on the outer corner only to elongate my eyeshape, ran MAC Fascinating along the lower waterline, and piled on loads of Sephora Advanced Lash Booster mascara. Totally sexy without being too made-up. :)

  9. Desiree

Nars Mekong as a upper lash liner, UD sin all over lid, toasted in the crease. Maybelline blk falsies mascara, Nars the multiple in riviera on cheeks, MAC capricious lipstick.

I was trying to go a little more daring this week, so there’s two I really enjoyed doing.

    Monday –
Face: Maybelline FIT foundation in 115, Maybelline FIT blush in light rose
Eyes: L’Oreal cool-toned concealer (used as concealer and base) and Sephora brand eye primer. Urban Decay Virgin in the inner corner, Shattered on lid, Grifter in outer corner, Chopper in crease, Victoria Jackson matte beige on brow. Almay Intense i-Color in violet in waterline.
Lips: Revlon Pearl in Wild Orchid

    Friday –
Face: Maybelline Fit foundation in 115, Maybelline Fit blush in rose.
Eyes: L’Oreal concealer around eyes. Sephora Brand liquid liner in Azure Blue winged out at the edges.
Lips: Jack Black’s lip balm in Black Rasberry Tea. (If it wasn’t for your blog, I might never have discovered this holy grail of lip balms. I am in love!)

I did a soft smoky look tonight for dinner and a bit of early Christmas shopping.

Eyes: TFSI, Tarte Werewolf in the outer v and blended out and in and smudged under the bottom lash line, Tarte Charmer patted on the lid, Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara(3 coats)

Face: MAC MSF Sunpower, MAC Mineralize Blush in Love Joy

    Lips: MAC Lychee Luxe Lipglass

Oh this would come up this week! Personal Make Up Disaster Week, along with Blow Every Dime At MAC Week.
So Color Stay to liven up that coolweather Dead & Unfed Vamp look; then some Holiday 2010. It was the week of the pallet with Nars Danmari doing cheeks and finally diving in to Six Dashing Lassies, metallic neutrals, to wear Russian Red lips. Also Six Beauties play it cool, smoky purples pallet. Experimented with this years silver lipstick which needs stain or unbudging liner under. That hasn’t worked out yet so I threw on Gel, a perm. gold version of the silver Eloquent Air. Oh No! LSU colors in South Louisiana! Bleh.
Rest of the week was Dashing lassies and Whirls and Twirls OR desperate Sin and Laguna eyes with a fat swipe of Blacktrack and Sin/Angelika cheeks, Pose lippie from Smashbox. Easy red, a bit darker no frost or such. And Opulash every day. Icky but needs different lipcolor.
The fun risk taking? Enough empties for five free lippies at MAC. The rule is freebies are required to be outside my comfort zone.
So I grabbed a Morange. Only one that frightened me! More will come. I should snag Pervette, the glazes over colors are calling. Russian Red with Fuschia pigment to walk the dog was fun-the daylight test.

I need a lipliner that doesn’t budge like Pearlglide liners don’t budge. Any thoughts?

MAC Studio Fix powder in NC44.5, Sleek Pout Polish in Peach Perfection, Nars Larger Than Life eye liner in Via Veneto, or if I’m not wearing the eye liner then MAC Mahogany lip pencil and Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in La Somptueuse OR Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in L’Exuberante.

  14. Jenni

My favorite look was the most subtle look I did this week, I used Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Spf 15 in Warm Beige 3.5, Chanel Stylo Yeux aterproof eyeliner in Taupe 84, Chanel tweed blush in Brun Rose 70, and Chanel Rouge Allure Laque in Santel 77.

  15. Joan

MAC Dark Diversion for upper lid liner, topped w/Sketch
