Chanel Prelude quad on the eyes, Chanel Rouge on the cheeks and Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Boy on the lips.
I had 2 kinda opposite extreme favorites this week. The first was a super bright eye using the Sugarpill Burning Heart palette, and the second was a nude look from a Kandee Johnson tutorial using the Naked palette. Naked as a base color from lashline to brow blended up, a mix of Smog and Darkhorse smudged on the lower lashline, and a mix of Sin and Sidecar on the lid. Inner rims lined, and a touch of black shadow along the upper lashline. Easy for work and doesn’t look like I’m trying too hard.
ooooh i did that kandee johnson look too!- soooo gorgeous!! i loved smog and darkhorse blended together… best ever!
My favorite was the one I wore in this post. For someone who claims not to be the biggest fan of MAC I sure worse a lot fit for this look!
http://lacqueredpaintedpolished.blogspot.com/2011/07/fotd-blackened-gold-revolution.html
lips: NYX black cherry lipgloss with Monte Carlo lip creme (also by NYX)-very bold
eyes: MAC knight divine, black liner, and mascara
I did a red and gold eye, lip, and mani for the midnight Harry Potter throw-down (http://sara-sayswhat.blogspot.com/2011/07/sara-says-mischief-managed.html)! It was the first time I have ever tried Jesse’s Girl cosmetics – not too shabby. I also am trying to just my MUFE flash palette every time I do a dramatic look. The gold flash color over a red lip was killer, if I do say so myself!
“Trying to USE my MUFE flash palette” rather, lol. Brain overheated.
I was playing around with my stash last night and came up with something pretty nice!
Eyes:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Josie Maran Natural Wonder Argan Powder Palette
– Daydream on the lid, Trance on the inner corner, Desire on the socket line, Hope on the outer corner

Lancome Black Coffee eye pencil on the waterline
Estee Lauder Double Wear Graphite eyeliner on upper lashline

NYX Pinched as blush
e.l.f. Blusher/Bronzer duo to contour
Revlon Mineral Finishing Powder in Brighten to highlight
Lips:
Rimmel Airy Fairy lipstick
Shiseido Nude Bronze lipstick
MAC Evolution Revolution lipglass
Overall even though the palette colors are bright, they created a very pretty, light look!
UD Quickie Afterglow Cheek Tint (Sample from Sephora!) on Cheeks and a bit on Lips
Lancome Juicy Tube Smoothie Lipgloss in Fifth Avenue Frosting on Lips
EYES – From Tartan Tales Dashing Lassie Palette:
A Dashing Lassie (F) = Browbone Highlight

My fav this week was MAC Mythology on the lid with NYX Deep Purple in the crease and blended up a bit. Along with MAC My Paradise on the cheeks.
All MAC – Gorgeous Gold on the the inner half of the lid, Woodwinked on the outer half and crease, Vanilla for highlight. Blacktrack on upper and lower lashline.
That sound lovely! going to try it tonight. Thanks!
WnW’s silent treatment…just the lid colour and highlight colour. MAC’s Dame on my cheeks (scrubbed on – the Tartan Tales version seems impossible to get to show). Laugh a Lot on my lips.
I always have a hard time getting Dame to show, even on my NC10-15 skin, and I’ve had my pan of it at least 4 or 5 years. So I don’t know if it’s necessarily the Tartan Tale version so much as it’s just the nature of the colour. I think I have the Tartan Tale palette with Dame in it around, so now I want to see if it’s really worse than the separate pan…
Right now I’m testing out the L.A Colors Traditional palette (for a $1 product it’s holding up nicely) with Lakme Eye Kajal and Almay mascara. For the lips I’m wearing Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Rum Raisin.
I wore this look to the Harry Potter premiere.
FACE: Maybelline FIT foundation in 115, FIT powder in 115, MUFE HD concealer
CHEEK: MUFE HD blush in nip slip with MAC rose quartz MSF over it.
LIP: MAC gem of roses lipstick
EYES: UDPP, UD rollergirl palette-Verve as highlight, suspect all over lid, darkhouse in crease and woodstock in the middle of lid for a pop of color.
UD bourbon liner on top lids.
UD’s 24/7 Eyeshadow pencil in Sin, UD Mildew eyeliner in a thin line on the upper lid, one coat of Benefit’s Bad Gal Lash in basic black on the upper lashes, MAC Viva Glam V lipstick on lips with a bit of Dior Ultra Gloss in Beige Tweed over that. It’s kind of my go-to for when I don’t want to wear anything too dramatic but would still like some color on my lids.
The look I wore today: Bobbi Foundation, Chanel Bronze Universal, MAC e/s in Vex, Copperplate and Print and Opulash.
Urban Decay Woodstock and Jones on the lid. UD Darkhorse in the crease. UD ABC Gum as highlighter. Midnight cowboy on the lower lash line. Whiskey in the waterline.
Urban Decay Woodstock and Jones on the lid. UD Darkhorse in the crease. UD ABC Gum as highlighter. Midnight cowboy on the lower lash line. Whiskey in the waterline. Mac Evolution Revolution and dab some Woodstock on the lips to give color.

I love weekends because I have more time to play around with makeup! Today I’m wearing: Geek Chic Cosmetics Eyes of the Werewolf and Blood Bond eyeshadows with a taupe eyeliner from Physicians Formula and MAC Bold as Gold from the Fafi eye quad and Avon Super extend mascara. Benefit Coralista on the cheeks with some Physicians Formula Mineral Pearls to highlight my cheekbones. Finished off with MAC Viva Glam Gaga 2 lipglass. I never thought I would be able to get away with wearing a red eyeshadow but it is surprisingly wearable!
For a b-day dinner with the folks I wore
Eyes: UD Half-Baked on inner half of lid, UD Smog on outer v (Naked Palette) blended with Fyrinnae Monarch Butterfly in the crease and smoked out. Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara
Face: MAC Refined Deeper Bronze Bronzer
Lips: MAC Nymphette Lipglass
This look turned out really pretty and summery but now that I’ve typed it out, I really need to get more creative. I’ve used Smog and Monarch Butterfly in my last three responses:)
This was my favorite look this week:
http://beautybeginner.wordpress.com/2011/07/11/beautiful-susan-gave-a-berry-custard-ice-to-starlet-leigh-ann/

Bare Minerals Honey Diamond from lashline to brow, Tarte for True Blood Charmer and Bayou blended in crease to look like a sunset glow, Bare Minerals Smoky Diamond to line the lashes and Clinique Lash Doubling mascara to round it out. Nars Orgasm blush and Laguna bronzer on the cheek area and Nars Orgasm Illuminator to highlight cheekbones and brow. Too Faced Plush Glamour Gloss on lips. It’s a nice look for summer. Not too much and works for day or night on my olive skin. It sounds like a lot of sparkle but it really isn’t.
I came with with a nice neutral-gold face to show off MACs Gem of Roses lipstick on my lips.
Eyes – MAC painterly as base, Rock & Republic Carat (pale gold) on inner third of top lid, MAC Golden Gaze on outer third of lid, MAC Center Stage (dark brown) as liner on top and bottom lid. Clinique black mascara.
Face – Visible lift foundation in 1 shade darker than my matching color, well blended. no blush. Mac Chez Chez Lame as highlight on cheekbones and around eyes.
Lips – MAC Gem of Roses, troweled on LOL.
