What we're Wearing

What We’re Wearing, Vol. 023

For me: Cle de Peau #207 Eyeshadow Quad – used the lightest shade on the lid and inner tearduct, while I used the bluish shade in the crease.

  1. My Inglot eyeshadows, just some nude colors, a light shimmery pink on my lid, a darker taupe in the crease and a pearly white highlight on the brow and tearduct.
Classic cat eye done in liquid liner and Diorshow black mascara.
    And just some lipgloss :)

  2. My favorite was this one I wore a few days ago-

    http://lacqueredpaintedpolished.blogspot.com/2011/07/fotd-sleekly-tarte-and-buxom.html

It was simple, but I liked it. It was Terrier and Whippet Buxom Stay-There shadows on my eyes, Sleek’s Pan Tao blush very lightly on my cheeks, and Tarte’s Pink Grapefruit lipgloss on my lips.

  3. Michelle

Mac Short Shorts on the lid and inner corner. Mac Sable on the outter 1/3 of the lid and expensive pink on the crease. Mac Dame blush and Angel lipstick.

  4. Today’s my birthday, so I think I’m gonna rock a rainbow look using the Milani Paint Palette (http://sara-sayswhat.blogspot.com/2011/07/sara-fancies-herself-painter.html) to match my crazy rainbow metallic manicure I’ve got going on. I also wore the Revlon Just Bitten lip stain this week in Passion and it’s not bad! I love the balm that comes with it! Kept it pretty minimal because it’s soooo dang hot here. *melts*

lately I have been going retro: Painterly paint pot on the eye, then set with MAC brule. Wedge in the crease for a little bit of definition, and Phloof! for an inner highlight. Top that off with some winged top liner with blacktrack fluidline and mascara. The cheeks I left neutral with just some contouring. On the lips I have been trading between my two favorite red shades: Lady Danger and Russian Red

The result- a classy pinup look thats great for any time of day

  6. My favorite look this week was a neutral defined lid with bright lilac smudged on the lowerlashline. I used:
    - Urban Decay Naked Palette (Virgin – inner corner, Naked – buddy color, & Smog – crease)
    - NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Lavender (lower lashline)
    - Almay Intense I-Color Powder Shadow in Trio For Greens 204 (lower lashline)
    - Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes Liner in 0L (waterline & tightline)
    - Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara in Black

  7. UD Smog on lid with UD Naked and UD Buck in crease. Ud Perversion as upper lid liner and waterline, UD Virgin in tearduct, with Milani Liquify Eyes liner in Aqua topped off with MAC Parrot on lower lashline and Mally Volumizing Mascara. Tarte Peaceful Amazonian Clay blush on cheeks and MAC Subculture Lip liner topped off with Lancome Pale Lip Lipstick. I love this look, neutral with a pop of color!!!

“UD Smog on lid with UD Naked and UD Buck in crease.” been wearing that 3 days of the week lol :)

  8. Kristabelle

My fave was my 4th of July look.
Eyes- neutral pinup (UD Sin from lashline to crease, Naked in the crease, Buck in the outer crease, Virgin as highlight, then a little Darkhorse to further define the crease. A tiny tiny bit of Sugarpill Goldilux patted all over the lid- just enough to give it a subtle shimmer. Then LC Nymph (white-gold) patted on from the inner eyelid blended out to the middle. Lined rims with black, then did a winged upper lashline with a royal blue liquid liner from Nyx.
    Lips- bright red- Nyx Eros.

My Fashion Flower haul! Lucky Green on the lid, Bows and Curtseys in the crease and Groundcover to blend it up and out, with Burberry Trench as a highlight. UD Zero smudged on the upper lashline and in the waterline, with Lucky Green fading into Bows and Curtseys on the lower lashline. On my cheeks, Alpha Girl, and Gem of Roses to top it off.

I have to say I’m amazed at the staying power of the beauty powder: even after 12 hours, there was still some colour to my cheeks! Nars Orgasm fades after less than eight.

  10. Heidi

For eyes, I am wearing UD primer potion in Sin, UD Sidecar blended on the lid (this shade surprised me, it has a lot of depth, I found I didn’t need a crease shade because of this) I also used a bit of Virgin as highlight and a bit of Sin along the inner corners of my eyes, this look makes my eyes pop and look huge! I just got the Naked palette this past month, I love it! I added some MAC Plushlash in Black and a light glossing of UD lip gloss in Crush.

  11. brighton

Ive been using a mixture of sin & sidecar from UD on the lid, with Hustle (UD) in the crease, a lilac color from the MAC in the groove togetherness trio in the inner corner and ransom eyeliner from UD on the water line and lower lash line, setting it from ransom e/s from UD. Top it off with Falsies mascara, MAC peechy keen, MAC Chatterbox l/s and MAC pink lemonade lipglass

  12. Maeve

I decided to go for a sunset look. I’m wearing UD Eldorado on the inner third, MAC goldmine on the middle third, and the pink from NYC Island Sunset on the outer third with the purple NYC in the crease. I used MAC vanilla to highlight, with a soft white on the inner tearduct and right beneath my brow.

  13. Bethany

I picked up some Sephora shadows last week, and I discovered that Engagement Ring all over the lid with Made in Manhattan blended up from the lashline is a nice simple look that complements my grey eyes!

  14. Nicole

Because of the hot weather I nearly every day chose Bobbi Natural Foundation mixed with Chanel Bronze Universal, Opulash mascara by MAC and By Terry’s Or De Rose. No eyeshadow, no blush and no lipstick.

  15. Karen

MUFE Aqua cream eyeshadows and mac paint pot as a base, bare study in the inner corner #12 in the middle and #17 in the outer corner. Stila kitten over bare study, mac amber lights over MUFE 12, nyx rust(dupe for mac cranberry) over MUFE17, nyx tuape in the crease, nyx vanilla sky under the brow. Kitten and amber lights smudged on the lower lashline. Wet n wild waterproof liquid liner on the outer 2/3rds of my upper lash line. Maybelline colossal mascara waterproof. Sleek blush is rose gold(orgasm dupe but with more shimmer) layered over elf studio mellow mauve on my cheeks. Benefit highbeam as a highlight. Mac crosswires creamsheen lipstick w/ millani 3D glitsy glamour gloss in stylish(orange). I love it!

  17. I took MAC’s Saffron part way up my lid, Ben Nye’s Spice on the lid and then faded with Ben Nye’s Honey. I put MAC’s Hush on the brow. I then took LORAC’s Posh and put it on the outer 1/3 of the upper and lower lid, winged softly out. I then used Viva Glam Cyndi for the lips and Milani’s Bellisimo Bronze on my cheeks. That got compliments all day.

  19. Mariella

NYX Jumbo E/S pencil in French Fries blended out (with UDPP underneath) – finally, I can work with this so it doesn’t crease! This was a base for the darker side of MAC’s Family Silver on lid and in crease; Shroom as a highlight and black liner. TheBalm DownBoy blush and Laugh A Lot lipstick.

This week I tried out the new bareMinerals Prime Time shadow in Urban Nature. I used it as a base on my lid. On the inner 2/3rds of my lid I patted the lighter shaodow from the Nars Dogon duo. On the outer third of my lid and blended into my crease I used the mauvey-plum shadow from the WnW Sugar Plum Fairy palette (2nd column 2nd row). To deepen my crease I used a bit UD Rockstar. For cheeks I used Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Exposed and for lips I used UD Lip Junkie in Wallflower.

  27. Sugarchalet

I don’t always wear makeup but this week I did!! Two Faced shadow Insurance (always), Hush CCB on lid up into crease then topped with MAC Dreammaker e/s, blended just up past crease. I softened the orbital bone with Brule and did a thin winged liner with black liquid liner. Black mascara and bronzer to finish:)

  28. Amanda

I use the 120 palette from ebay, having very limited finances. My favourite look was pale pink over the inner half of my lids with a darker blue on the outer half and in the cease. Covergirl Perfect Blend eyeliner pencil in black on my waterline (top and bottom) and Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara in black.
