For a blue-eyed blonde with warm skin who doesn’t have either palette (yet!), which one would you recommend? I really like both palettes, but I have serious trouble deciding which one I want the most! Love your reviews

Thanks for the helpful video Christine. I love some of these colors but I think I’ll be skipping this one as I already have too many of these shades. I agree with you on the Half Baked being included, doesn’t make any sense.
I know, right? Hey, I can tolerate some similarity, but repeats?!
If they had to do a repeat I would’ve preferred it to be Virgin, as it’s the only real hilight shade in Naked 1 and not available in singles or any other palettes as far as I know.

I’m getting this one! I think because I didn’t get the first one (colors didn’t seem right for me), I may be happier with this one than some who did.

It’s a good palette – if you have the first, it’s not a must-have, but if you have neither, both are great options.

Um i just bought the naked pallet 1 and im saving up money do u no if this pallet is limited eddition?

I am so disappointed with this palette, personally. I already have 2 Half Baked, YDK, Chopper, Busted (it really is just a repeat of Hustle), Snakebite (mixing Darkhorse and Smog, that is), and believe me, I have enough black eyeshadow to last seven lifetimes. I can’t justify buying a 12 shade palette for only half the shades! I wish they would experiment more with their shades instead of rehashing the same ones, this seems to be a problem with their palettes. I’m not buying this one… my UD-obsessed heart hurts, but at least my wallet is happy.
It really is too bad, because UD has so much room to expand!
If I could go back in time and IF Naked 1 and Naked 2 existed at the same time a year ago, I would’ve chose Naked 2. That being said, I would’ve bought Naked 2. I don’t think it’s worth buying now though. It’s too much $$$.

half-baked is actually my favorite eyeshadow of all time! i got it with the naked 1, and have used literally all of it… no idea how people don’t like this shade!
I’m impressed! I have no idea how anyone can finish it – the shade is so dense and pigmented! LOL!

Hey Christine! Thanks for taking the time to go through the palettes so thoroughly. It’s really helpful for those, like me, who don’t have physical access to UD merch. I don’t own either, since I only found out a few months ago a website that shipped UD to New Zealand, and I’m so lost on which one to pick up. I’m a brunette/grey-blue eyes/fair-cool. I think in theory that pegs me in the Naked2 camp – but the comments on the somewhat chalky/dry quality of Foxy and Tease, as well as Chopper the gllitterbomb, make me a bit nervous. And I kind of enjoy the warm goldy bronze colours in 1 for a bit of contrast against the grey-blue. Help!
To make matters worse, I’m also fairly new to the world of make-up and own little to my name.

I’m sure you’re sick of making recommendations but for someone with warm medium to darkish “Indian dark” skin colour with yellow undertones (I used NC 45 in Studio Fix if that helps?) which of the palettes would you recommend? I can only afford one palette being a student and all!

Hi Christine, I’m new to Urban Decay’s Makeup line (my first product I ever bought from them was their Urban Decay Primer Potion-go figure). Anyways, I have dark brown eyes and hair, a fair/medium skin tone and wear thin rimmed purple glasses. Would you recommend that I buy the Original Naked or Naked 2?
