random questions in terms of color.. I’m a spot on NW30, but I do not have any pinky undertones, i have more yellow undertones. When looking at your color recs, I should still go with the warmer color recs, right?
Also, what should I do when using the foundation matrix? It’s SO beneficial but should I be looking at the NC30 shade matches even though I’m nw30?
I would probably go with the warmer colors!

I have been told that there are no PRO discounts on collaborations, just like Liberty of London.
I have seen Pro discount honored (in store and online) for collections with limited edition packaging at about three to four weeks after official release.

Not really – Exhibit A is REALLY red-orange. Bite of an Apple is lot pinker, less orange-y.
Do you know if these price increases are going to be permanent (on the eyeshadows and lipsticks) or if it’s just going to be for this collection?
Oh, and the blushes, too. =[
Lipsticks already went up to $14.50. I believe these prices are just for this collection.
Good. It’s not that I wouldn’t still buy, it’s just that price hikes make me sad.

Ohhh yes, I’ll soooo get the nail polishes!!! There’s no ORLY stores or places where they sell that brand near from where I live, but there’s a MAC store in Barcelona. I might check those out! Nice review, Christine!

The Magically Cool Liquid Powders remind me of the Smashbox Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder (which I love). I use the it as a foundation or a setting powder. I wished that they had something with a more of a sheen so I think Truth & Light will be just what I wanted. I also use the Smashbox Halo Bronzer & it appears 2 be very close 2 Cajun.

If you lock the focus on your camera or dont have objects in the background, the focus wont constantly go in and out.
Since I move things in and out, though, I don’t want to lock the focus!

I don’t like Disney at all but I do love evil, and the fact this collection is based on villians makes me estactic. I was wondering though is how long does a MAC store carry a collection? I’m not loaded with money and I see a ton I want. So just want to know how long a collection is out.
It really depends… sometimes things sell out in the first few days, sometimes they’ll have pieces around for 1-2 months.
Will you sell me your boxes? Lol. I really like the pop boxes. It makes me sad they won’t be available for consumers. My favorite lipssticks so far are innocence beware & Toxic Tale.

I’ll really try to get it but sometimes it can be really difficult to get the products you want from a MAC Limited Editions – there are just few MAC Counter in Germany
(I know the fact that I live in germany means it could be just as difficult to get the “dupe” but i hope it won’t
for the baked marble shadows, how did you apply them wet? did you use another product or just good old water on your brush?

Cajan powder looks identical to the cooling bronzer that Prescriptives came out with… I wouldn’t be surprised if they recycled the formula…
It might be – the product itself is Prescriptives’ Magic Cooling Powder or whatever it was titled!

Hi Christine! Love the blog, thanks so much for these swatches, I’m excited to attend the Unveiling Party here in Houston for this collection.
I had a question. How would you compare the Bite Of An Apple blush to the Marine Life highlight powder from the To The Beach collection? I purchased Marine Life when it came out and I wanted to know how they compared to each other before I purchased Bite Of An Apple, they look pretty similar to me!
In conclusion, I’m in love with the lipsticks, glosses, and the beauty powders, I think I’ll be purchasing those out of anything else. Thanks so much once again!

I only get U.S./Canadian prices, so I don’t know what the UK prices are. They should be maybe 1-2 higher than the regular price for each item. Sorry I’m not more helpful!
