i like putting nanogold allover the lid, with the two pinks from the stack 1 color in the crease. For cheeks i like either nars orgasm or mac pink swoon. sometimes i put cha cha lipglass over it if i want it to be more dramatic, and instagold lusterglass over it to tone it down a bit.

  2. MAC E/S in Beauty Marked, Star Violet, and Vex, Nars Taos for the cheeks, and I would leave the lips as is.

Eyes: Sunnydaze pigment as allover shadow base, Nylon on inner corner & Buckwheat (or Mulch) on outer corner.
Cheeks: NYX Peach blush & Soft and Gentle MSF to highlight.
Lips: Wonderstruck lustreglass lightly dabbed on the center of lips over Victorian!

  5. id match it with a smokey eye to create a rocker look

What shadows would you use? Smokey Silver/Gray over the lid..Black Shadow in the outer part of the eye and crease…then add Black liner. What would you use on cheeks? Maybe MAC Blush in “Well Dressed”. Anything added to the lips? Nothing added to the lips.

I apply Dervish lip liner first, then Victorian lipstick and Light that Fire lipglass on top. I also like to combine it with 2N or Poetic License lipglass.

I would pair Victorian, with …
Eyes: Photorealism palette or any green shadow similar that wasn’t bright, more neutral.
Second Eye look: a grey smokey eye with a warm brown in the crease.

Either a peachy-pink like Nars Orgasm (lightly applied), or MAC’s melba, or peaches, Pinch O Peach, or Dainty.
I would do some contouring with a matte blush (I use Harmony) or perhaps no blush, just use a bronzer for a cheek with some shimmer highlight.

That’s how I would wear Victorian or any other coral lip.

I actually wore this today, it’s one of my new favorite lipsticks. I just wore it as a sheer application with a neutral color all over the lid, a thin coat of black liner and a thick coat of mascara. I used a little Azelea Ombre over the cheeks and was good to go. The weather in So Cal and this lipstick makes it feel like it’s already summer :)

I forgot to include a link to the final look! Here it is:

Use a base to create a long lasting shadow. I used UDPP. Apply Moon’s Reflection to inner 1/3 of lid (239). Then put Gorgeous Gold to middle 1/3. Apply Rule to outer 1/3 and lightly blend with a (217) using each color to blend. Apply Swish to crease (224). Then, for highlight, apply Mylar to browbone (227). Blend everything together with a light hand (217). Apply Blacktrack Fluidline to upper lashline (209). Apply Liner to waterline and tightline using Smolder Eye Kohl.

Apply Well Dressed to apples of cheeks (150)

Apply Victorian to lips and layer between a pressed powder using a sponge. (*Optional: apply clear lip gelee on top of Victorian lipstick to give a glossy finish.)

I was thinking of picking this up today. I don’t know what I would wear with it, However, it is a pretty color. I’m an NW 45… any suggestions for a neutral look?

  13. I love the gold shimmer! What do you think of Korres’ other lipsticks? I love the Korres products I’ve tried, and I have been wanting to try the lipsticks as well.

from the permanent collection, Prr Lipglass or Internationalist Dazzleglass
from the SCF collection, the shimmery gold Lipglass. from the permanent collection, Prr Lipglass or Internationalist Dazzleglass

  15. SOmething with Stars N Rockets. Also, layered with Funtabulous Dazzleglass. or a purple smokey eye with the Stack 1 fuschia pigment in the center of the lid(I pressed mine and its made the texture SOOOOOOOOO much easier to apply!)

It would also be really pretty with a VERY pale neutral eye with smudged liner and long lashes, adn Well Dressed or Azalea blossom blush. I think for that idea, i’d want very dewy skin for a “china doll” type look.

Thinking of this makes me wish I’d bought Victorian, instead of just Raddichio.

  16. I’d make it a GREEN Day!

Bitter, Humid and Swimming. I love green and bright pink together.

  17. a teal liner and maybe a very very light sweep of coral blush

it’s such a beautiful color. It reminds me of a day in New Orleans while sipping on sweet tea. I would wear very pale colors on my lids, maybe Straw Harvest with Nanogold and light coat of mascara. For cheeks I’d use a very light blush, maybe Pink Swoon or Coy Girl. Of course you’d need to prep and prime first, using a matte foundation with a porceline finish.

I love this lippie, it reminds me of my beloved Color Crafted! I think it looks great with Humid and Aquavert. I also like a matte nude shadow and black liquid liner for a ’60s retro look.
I’ve also found it works for me to put Victorian over Fleshpot if I need to tone it down a bit :)
